Once its been jetwashed there is an engine in all that mud ha ha :-) By the looks of it, a good old engine :-) The chug-a-bug lives :P

Mechanics always say replace your serpentine belt cuz if it breaks it will ruin your engine. Maybe no power steering or running coolant but will still start
@analog56x2 жыл бұрын
definitely! the only real risk is overheating, and i wouldnt put it past the average person to not pay enough attention and cook their engine, so i understand why mechanics are saying that haha!

I know this is 10 year late but she's missing the radiator fan.

Haha! Yep. The truck was driven hard through a field before they scraped it. They blew up the water pump and trashed the fan, filled the frame and let control arms with dirt. I just wanted to get it running again, and try to build it back up, but lost interest because it wasn't my original s10 :(

Dang I feel that man.. I used to drive an old 85 s10 pickup that I grew to love, they were so easy to fix. A few months back I got t-boned and the old farm truck was totaled. Recently I purchased an 88 s15 jimmy that needs a lot of work. I have the motivation to do it but winter is coming soon so I won't have the time.. I hope it's not too late to encourage you to not give up.. I actually stumbled across this video while searching KZbin for the S15 jimmy 😅

@@dyingmeadow5769 oh that's sad. I got another 91 sonoma given to me, it's the same color, same body style (ECSB) and it's a 5spd, but its got the 2.5 iron duke in it. The guy gave up trying to fix its random 'shut off while driving and won't restart for hours sometimes' issue after throwing a ton of new parts at it... turns out the reman distributor that he bought was the issue haha! He was both happy and frustrated too see me driving it around so soon after giving up. That's awesome that you found my channel that way haha, im still relevant haha! I've done a tiny bit of stuff to this little blue sonoma, but the main thing i wasn't to do is awd swap, then 350 on propane haha! Make it a fun little truck to rip around in. Though, it is quite fun as is. I threw a lunchbox locker in it, and huck around all the corners haha :P Cheers bud!
