Personally I would resize those original wheels. Keep it looking OEM+. Those who know will realise what you’ve done. It will look amazing when aired out.

Interesting! I've been trying to restore one of these for a few years now. Mine is the 840Ci Sport individual, Barbados Green with the same champagne leather as yours. If yours is an individual it would definitely have had blue piping on the seats. Looks like you've picked up a beautiful car, definitely not a common colour. These cars do rust very seriously, so good to hear that yours has hopefully been repaired properly.

Looking good I also have the 840ci sport Barbados green individual I purchased completely original and standard with mega history 2 owners from new it had a little lacquer peel and decided to overhaul the full car full new interior retrim and respray the wheels are needing polished up and it’s ready to go may see you at ultimate dubs 👍😂

The rear seats are US spec but set as default for all markets where dimensions are meant to fit average child up to 14years of age or 160cm max height....The ideal when restoring it today is rear seats delete where cleared bottom room accomodates LPG tanks (these engines have no problem running on propane if additional Flashlube system is included) and upper half of the shelf bears fitting luggages. Also handy to add one-touch folding of all windows under one remote button for easy access to the back.

Great buy Raj !!!👌👌👌👌 Can’t wait to see the finished project by March 2023 I would keep the OEM wheels and put them to one side , for the next owner I would put a set of polished 18 or 19 Alpina alloys on the car Colour combo is awesome 💋💋💋 The 8 series was 10/15 years head of its time , You purchased a late reg car also , best one to buy , less problems and gremlins in it !!

Check out Clarion USA, they executed a series of mods to an 850i, and I think you need to better their hifi installation. Wheels should be 18 inch, it will ride too harsh on 19" rims. BBS RS or Alpina's. Maybe a carefully selected HRE Performance set. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this nice example 840Ci
