Do black markers and headlights/tail lights. That’s exactly what I have done to mine, along with black roof.

Hey man just bought a 2005 c6. Any major issues those motors have you know of like comparable to the ls7 valve drop? I know the car has a cam no idea what kind. Kooks headers corsa exhaust. Short throw. Feels like I need a new clutch but yeah beyond the obvious things I could google just thought I would pick your brain. What’s your thoughts also maybe a next step get some more horse and torque out of it. Car runs great though 42k miles, interior immaculate got it for 24k

So, he thought it was too bright, huh? 29 years ago, I looked at a 73 Corvette, an original color bright yellow car, and it was a very sunny day! I thought, "The car is too bright, and it's too loud!" As soon as I got home, I called the owner and bought it. It's still in my garage, along with Corvette #6, a 2008 C6Z06. Great cars!!! I went up to a C7, but I love the Z06 much more. Sold the C7 to my son, with just 7k miles on it.

"Titanium rods rub against each other"? What? Sorry, looks like you have a cool channel here, but there is a ton of misinformation already about the LS7.

Lol I'd suggest you educate yourself before accusing someone of misinformation. Very well documented issue. Google is your friend

@@ChrisSullivan69 Don't need Google. My 2007 Z and my tuner say it's a problem for people who race and modify their cars. Valves don't "rub against each other", they rub their guides which house them, encounter heat and friction, and can fail just like anything else on a car that is tracked to death. Just calling for accuracy when bashing a hand-built engine, which has been quite reliable to me for over 20,000 miles and 10 years. Best of luck with your endeavors.

@@BrisLS1 read your own text above. Titanium rods wearing away the coating and rubbing against each other is one issue, valves wearing away the guide material is another. You're mixing them up. Your tuner is wrong and so are you. Every single ls7 ever produced has the valve guide issue, some worse than others. Yours might be fine for now but the inherent geometry issue is still there. This is my 4th Ls7 including one I bought blown up last year because the rods rubbed and destroyed the bottom end. May want to look into these issues yourself instead of blindly trusting your tuner and spreading misinformation. Good luck to ya

@@ChrisSullivan69 I understand that the valve failure was caused by the valve guides not being machined concentric to the valve seats. Also, the connecting rods should have had a thrust washer between them instead of relying on some sort of "coating".

@@ChrisSullivan69 Chris is speaking FACTS! I also have a heads/cam C6 ZO6 and have done massive amounts of research on the LS7. Every single LS7 ever made, whether it's a crate engine, in a ZO6 or a 2014/15 Z28 Camaro has these inherent issues. It's is very well documented.
