A lot of very fair comments about the "rex jawbone" baha - I was very much rushing out the door when adding that bit at the end of the video. Of course in retrospect it's absolutely not a rex and it's likely a ceratopsid of some description, given the prominent beak portion.

I don’t think it is a Rex Jawbone. The bone in the clip has molars and a beak, which carnivorous dinosaurs would lack. It makes me think of a Ceratopsian, like Triceratops.

I agree. It definitely looks like a Triceratops Skull and if you look in the larger open crate there is definitely another part of the skull which has the frill on it (and crest horns which are shorn off), and there is also a guy carrying a massive horn 😂

That "Tyrannosaurus jawbone" at the end as a beak, batteries of teeth and a very ceratopsian-like shape. Probably a Triceratops, to go along with the top of the skull and one of the horns that we also see in the video.

The spread of dinosaurs all over the world was referred to as the beginning of the "Neo-Jurassic Age" in the marketing for the previous films, so it's likely that the "Neo-Jurassic Wing" is a display focusing on the de-extinction of the dinosaurs (as well as the history surrounding it and the impact that its had on the modern world) and not just a display about Jurassic Park or Jurassic World (although I assume they would be included in it).

At the end of Fallen Kingdom, or during the montage of the dinosaurs on the mainland, the track that plays is called The Neo Jurassic Age. I think the words on the box refer to that scene, or just dinosaurs entering civilization as a whole

4:50 There is a discontinuity created in the film itself but also from Jurassic World Chaos Theory that strongly suggests Dominion takes place in 2023 instead though we do see in a couple places that it says 2022.

Only the final scenes takes place in 2023. Most of the movie is set in December 2022

maybe rebirth will celebrate palaeontology like how the original films were, i dont mean actual celebration i mean like showing respect to the field and to set up that dinosaurs were living animals and not monsters (though fictional but behaved like animals). this element was entirely missing in the jurassic world films and cuts straight to roger corman dino behaviour, and no the alan grant introduction in dominion doesn't count because theres zero attempt.

I feel like those are just crates used to ship props to the set. I can't imagine a movie going into that much detail on the labels unless they plan to have a close up shot, but what do I know. The date just makes me think it's literally used for that... The fake phone number is the only part that makes me question it.

5:50 in regards to raptors in JWR, it's pretty much all but confirmed they'll appear as multiple toy listings have came out labelled "JW 4 Velociraptor mask" and " JW 4 Velociraptor". The only other figure to get this treatment is "JW 4 Villian Dino"

After seeing all the leaked set photos and reading the plot synopsis, the movie sounds a lot like an Indiana Jones film. And if that's the style Gareth goes for I am totally down for it since the first and third Indiana Jones films are some of Spielberg's best. I feel like the movie is going to have a lot of charm and I can't wait for next summer!

I love how the "region of origin" for T. rex is the specific US state of Montana, but Velociraptor & Gallimus just get... "Mongolia." (& Baryonyx just gets United Kingdom, despite the enormous geological division of the British Isles meaning Scotland & Ireland are vastle different from England & Wales - yes I know it's pedantic, what else do you expect from Dino nerds? )
