New protests in Tbilisi against 'Russian law', Georgian PM says bill will be passed • FRANCE 24

Georgia's prime minister on Monday vowed to ram controversial "foreign influence" legislation through parliament the next day despite mass protests against the law criticised for mirroring repressive Russian legislation. His comments came as thousands of young Georgians crowded outside parliament for a third straight night of protests against the bill that has split the Caucasus country and triggered international condemnation. Regis Genté reports from Tbilisi.

@@mikered1974 Clearly not a small number of protesters and I have asked myself the same question. I think it´s puzzling many. The BBC was wondering this very thing on the news yesterday. Why indeed did they vote for this particular party? I would need to read their manifesto to understand
