I’d be very interested to see a Chapman take on a Jazzmaster/Jaguar influences build. Maybe throw the p90’s in it instead of the traditional JM pickups. My ML3 modern standard is an absolutely flawless instrument and it inspired me to pick up guitar

Chapman Guitar idea: SG body with the neck through the body. Maple neck with 24 fret fingerboard. Mahogany body with carved maple top. Include added ML2 style cutaway to ensure easy access to all 24 frets. Lastly include locking tuners and coil splittable humbuckers. Please and thank you!

I got a Schecter guitar which is made by World Music and I just can't not love it! I'm pretty sure that Chapman guitar would be also great! Here in South Korean, as far as I know, there's no official distributor of Chapman guitar so I can't get it. I hope one day I could buy and feel your great guitars.
@ThatBaritoneGuitarGuy
@ThatBaritoneGuitarGuy 5 жыл бұрын
Chapman does not use distributors. The shops buy directly from the factory. So, the issue is finding a shop who carries Chapman. I am not Korean, so I do not know if Korea has any such shops. That would be worth looking into. The lack of distributors is also why Chapman is able make guitars at a much higher quality than Schecter or ESP at the same amount of money per guitar.

Which Schecter? I've got a Schecter Special Edition V-1 made in the WM factory and my god that thing is just flawless! Action is so low the strings are damn near touching the frets and not a buzz or dead note to be found. The craftsmanship is impeccable for something I paid less than $600 for. They are going up in price now, though :(
@dreamerk24m
@dreamerk24m 5 жыл бұрын
I don't remember the model name, but mine's got alder body with burl top and maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, original floyd bridge and 2 humbucker pickups which is I thick pretty unique model for Schecter. I must agree with you, I didn't notice any flaws! And it feels so good and fits with my hand. I got lucky and paid less than $500 for my guitar, but I think they deserve more. Now the price of Schecter from WM is about $800 to $1,000 and still it's reasonable price for the quality they made.

My wants from a chapman: 1. To bring back the single humbucker ml1 superstrat 2. To have a Floyd rose option in all the body shapes. 3. To have all the Floyd rose models come with Floyd Rose Original Hot Rod model that comes with the brass block and stainless screws. Trust me, the prog rockers will make their way back to floyd rose eventually, but the rest of us classic rock wanna be shredders never left.
