I can answer q2-4. There will probably be no differences on ps4 games compared to the ps5 on ps5 pro, except if developers would add a specific new setting for current owners. This will likely not happen. The controllers are the same, but there are three new (actually good looking) colours on controllers, but they are 1:1 the same. Charging is the same speed, also battery life is still a$$. Hope he answers the other questions (good questions btw).

playstation itself informed and corrected me . ps5 pro's gpu is based on amd RDNA 3 architecture meaning it has dual issue gpu compute performance,for better understaing take RX7800 xt as an example it has 35 TFLOPS dual issue compute performance and 17.5 TFLOPS single issue performance.all of that means ps5 PRO is a true game changer and has amazing 33.5 TFLOPS of dual issue RDNA 3 based performance and 16.7 TFLOPS of single issue compute performance,WITH 3 times more raytracing performance,ITS a monster hell of a console almost next generation,it really worth the price with it's 2 tb ssd

If you care that much about the slight graphics upgrade and 2TB storage then go for the pro. Or you could save yourself the $200 USD and get the PS5 slim which is basically the same thing as the original PS5 but smaller. Keep in mind you may eventually want to buy an internal SSD later on for more storage which can cost you anywhere from $100-$200 for 1TB, or depending on the size the price may be more etc. which at that point you may end up spending what you would’ve anyways for the ps5 pro. if you wanna play discs on the pro you’ll have to buy a disc drive for an additional $80USD running your total up to $780 +taxes

Something new, sony removed the Liquid Metal and replace it with metal solid thermal paste. Another new fact that is not even in the manual. There’s a video of a tech dismantling the ps5 pro. So now you know that it has a new metal thermal paste, so they got rid of the problem in some ps5 Liquid Metal getting in the mother board. Also there some new materials to eliminate or mitigate rust. That’s all new I know have a good one.

From what I've seen online about the PS5 Pro, it still retains the single expandable storage slot and also the PS5 Slim's side plates are not compatible, but the disc drive add on is compatible. So if you get the disc drive separately you're gonna also want to wait for PlayStation to release PS5 Pro side plates in the color you want. I want that matte black finish so that's the one I will wait for.

The bottom side plates (including the one for the disc drive) are compatible. It's just the top plates that aren't (for whatever reason). There's no need to wait for PS5 Pro specific plates to get the disc drive, it comes with a replacement plate packed in.
