New public Art- My review and thoughts about Statues along Park Avenue in midtown NYC

There is new public art that has been installed along the medians of Park Ave between 38th st and 34th street in New York City. These statues were created by Bruno Catalono, and the series is known as "the travelers". More information can be found here:

Mercury -- Guess What?! OMG -- so, im on the bus minding my business and I pass by the NYPL by Bryant Park and guess what I saw? A bunch of ghostbusters i immediately thought of you and your dose of Ghostbusters recently and wow i did not know June 8th is Ghostbusters Day (thought id share my joy and excitement) -- Also, this artist #BrunoCatalano Brilliant. Maybe one day i will get to see it in person-- not sure if they are disintegrating or reintegrating (I also thought about avengers end game) -- im thinking a lot , lol These sculptures are super cool. First the portal and now these figures looking like they are invading NYC. Almost like aliens have figured out how to be us and are coming through a portal themselves but forgot to adjust their size to human size 🤣

I found out it was Ghostbusters day / the 40th anniversary too late to make it to any events. I saw that there was a gathering at the firehouse. It looked like so much fun. If you were by Bryant park you were just a few blocks from these statues. Totally worth checking out if your that close. Now that you say the end game reference I totally see it (and cant un see it)

Reply: Your wish is the universe's command: I was on the bus today, QM20, (you know, running errands and minding my business) and guess who i saw?; Van Gogh Today was that 'one day' ✔ (it was super cool, super rustic, and super grunge -- LOVED, even though it was just for a pair of seconds) Im sorry you missed this year's Ghostbusters celebration - The firehouse definitely looked like a fun time. (2025 is practically around the corner, at this rate wild)
