If the ranged cannot inflict torment then torment would be pretty hard to do considering you can't set up because it doesn't last for a long time but face camping is definitely a good thing to do with him and then the survivors coming to save would be tormented and downed and instead of slugging, he just sends them to the cage, he's a good killer if you want to be the most toxic killer in the planet(Noob3 content)

Gotta say, I am absolutely *in love* with the concept of sending people to a cage instead of hooking them. Not only shall it save a lot of time for the Killer, but that is also really ballanced! Because 1) the Survivor will get sent on the other side of the map, excluding the possibility of camping and 2) their teammate might be in that area and immediately rescue them, so it's a fair game of chance. Trading an insta-hook for an immediate rescue? Anytime! What are your thoughts on that, Otz?

This power works against you. As an example, I had a game where Pyro sent Sheryl right to us while we were opening the gates. It's hard to make survivors touch your trail + slow animation and harsh sensivity

Looks at the moment like it's going to be uncommon for good Surv players to get downed while Tormented. If you think about how chases work, Survs are generally spread, so you're chasing 1 while the others are somewhere else. Even if more were around, they won't just run into the trail, at best it might slow them for a few seconds as they crouch through it. For certain loops when the Surv has no resources left, but to chase you around like a car, you might be able to spend a second or two using that power to force them to run into it, but who knows... it's possible this is like Clown power and the self-slow allows them to reach a new loop when they see you going into animation, and even if they do run into it, you down them and instahook them, the time you saved is probably not much more than the time spent setting it up. The nicest thing is probably not so much time saved, and more like not having to worry about flashlights, sabos or bodyblocking. Looks pretty niche use for these reasons, maybe gets actually used a couple times per match. Clearly the wave is his main power.

This is ultimate F SWF killer. Never pick up survivors, send them on the opposite site of the map. No flashlight saves, no toolbox sabotage, no running around you (since you send caged to the other side of the map). Also this is no facecamp killer, if you do so you remove most of your power.

Some things Ive notice from actually playing him: His blast is harder to use than it looks. You cannot move ASD when using his M2, and you cannot look up or down. You can only W and x-axis mouse movement. You can kind of Deny areas with you trail, since they dont want to go into the alternate hook. You can have a mini-surviellence perk by putting your trail around a gen

Anyway I see alot of Laura/ spidergirl comments which I totally understand. I mentioned my idea for the keeper in the comments. I feel laura could have bodies to teleport to, like demogorgon, a sprint type of an ability or a short range teleport, far shorter than the nurse with collision and is faster. The killer’s abilities are pretty awesome here. The Mori too! The only thing i didn’t like was the final judgment. It was so short and the animation seemed to glitch out. Even with me disliking that, they did a damn good job on Pyramid Head with everything else!!!

It's a huge strength that the Final Judgement animation is so short. It takes 4 seconds and his mori is 12 seconds (including holding the key). Being DoH and tormented against him is a death sentence that your allies can't really capitalize on.

Well it is a ptb so they will probably flesh the animation in the full release, but in terms of why the animation is so fast, it’s essentially a substitute 3 hooks without worry of getting cheesed from ds unbreakable etc

forced penance needs to have a longer duration. 60 seconds total. Hell even 50 seconds total will still be good. Trail of torment neat idea with undetectable but with the downside that it tells survivors where you are. The downside is too vast to ever use this perk. Plus the Cooldown of 80 seconds is too high for such a small effect. Needs a ton of work to make this perk actually do something that helps the killer. Deathbound actually does something. This perk looks to actually be interesting. Forces survivors to stick together. That plus discordance would be a good combo. Plus if they didn't stay together oblivious is really strong by itself. This perk is actually good where the other two need serious changes if they will ever be used.

I am pretty sure that it will be very hard to curse seasoned survivor. imo I can imagine only two reliable ways to curse them: first - just use it in a loop to protect pallets or windows; second - on small maps you can protect some escape routes before starting a chase.

Pyramid Head is such an amazing fit for this game! When I woke up this morning and saw notifications for his reveal I legitimately couldn't believe it, I was absolutely giddy watching this video of by far my favorite horror video game icon tearing it up with some sick moves, an amazing map from SH1, a new soundtrack from the legendary Akira Yamaoka and Cheryl too! I sincerely hope this spells out good news for the Silent Hill franchise as a whole to make a return to form for the next console generation. This is an extremely good step in the right direction for once from Konami.

When I saw that thumbnail I didn't think it was true. It just didn't feel real. I didn't even think that Pyramid Head is a possibility. Watching a Silent Hill 3 let's play is actually one of the first things I did on youtube - and then the rest of the series. I know this game has iconic killers, but this is something else for me entirely... Wow. The SH nostalgia is strong in me. I was hoping his mori would be a little more like what happened to Alex's father xd Also, seeing his run in the ending screen instead of literally dragging himself across the ground is kinda funny xd

Identity V and Dead By Daylight are releasing so many similar content! First Idv released the violinist (he can form strings to damage and curse survivors) and now Dead By Daylight adds a killer than can draw strings on the ground that curse survivors too... also the violinist can release a "sonata" that does area damage just like piramid head's splash attack
