Legion's Strongest Build! | Dead by Daylight

This is my attempt at coming up with the strongest possible build with the Legion. Please read the pinned comment down below for an explanation of the perks, add-ons and how everything worked together!

*BUILD EXPLANATION:* The *Iridescent Button* add-on allows you to occasionally destroy pallets during chases (which I forgot!) and more importantly, gives you information on survivors' locations when you stab someone, reducing the need to use information perks. The green *Stolen Sketch Book* add-on extends the duration of the frenzy to make sure we have a better chance to hit multiple survivors and increase the room for small mistakes. *Hex: Ruin* is a fragile but strong stalling perk to buy us time at the start of the match and *Pop Goes the Weasel* is a more reliable tool to fight for the last generators. *Save the Best for Last* allows you to recover after normal hits up to 40% faster by repeatedly non-Obsession survivors, which you can do very easily by double stabbing them with your power. Once it's properly built up, it helps shorten chases and build up pressure very quickly. *I'm All Ears* is an odd perk, but a very powerful one that can allow you to "mind-game" certain low visibility tiles and down survivors prematurely, which can make a huge difference.

I personally love to go for Distressing / Caulrophobia / Nurse's Calling / Sloppy with these Add-Ons. They WILL stay injured once being stabbed. And even when that's not the case they have to invest a absurd amount of time to heal. Love these 2 Add-Ons together, it makes Legion an absolute pressure god when you're also capable of timing good slugs. But Nurse's probably ain't even necessary. Might take a look for better synergies when I play this build next time.

I think Legion's best build is just a pure miserable build along the lines of Pop/Surge, Thanat, Sloppy, Nurse's and then double Blade addons. Abuses Legions ability to easily get the first hit, makes them waste way too much time Mending/Healing, and then either makes them stay injured, making you just a budget Plague, or making them heal, in which case you just Frenzy them again and waste all their time all over again.

Oh yeah it's situational but damn you won't believe how many times basement saves and last min quick finish gen thus helps to stop And play with your food I rarely use but is good for jnsta down killers (billy , leather, Myers (especially with a tombstone )

Haddonfield doesn't have as high of an escape rate as Rotten Fields because you actually have to play decent for it to be OP for survivors. You have to know the loops and know how to abuse them. Rotten Fields gives you two huge advantages that require no real skill or even awareness to use: it's fucken hueg/generators are really spread out and it's relatively easy to hide/lose chase because CORN BLINDNESS. Think about all those gray/yellow/green rank games of killers just wandering around not finding anyone and when they do, lul tractor loops. Haddonfield's brokenness at least has to be actively exploited. Rotten Fields is just turning up the level of difficulty for killers even without any input from survivors.

Bamboozle stops nearly all of the loops on Haddonfield and most high rank killers use it. trapper is also godlike on Haddonfield just because of the windows on the houses, For Rottenfields you just want to have the gens in the field as last and catch people off guard due to no loops being in the centre. Many killers are too good on Rottenfields like billy and huntress and even trapper who can trap on the little hay block outside the window. The meme himself, bubba, is even good on this map also due to the fact off the massive open space. The maps that truly don't fair well to killers is the lab (too many corridors), bloodlodge (pallet town and no cover for you so literally you can be avoided all the time as survivors can see you from the other side of the map) and ironworks (due to map infinite and loops that join into other loops).

@@m-mori i stopped playing last month or so cause it got kinda stale, other than that its still quite fun and if my friends wanted to play together i wouldnt mind. If youre thinking about getting the game, i'd wait for a discount, especially since u have to pay extra for some killers/survivors. The community is also lowkey toxic just like any other game but you'll get the hang of it Overall 7/10 if solo, difficult to learn but easy to master 8.5/10 if playing with friends Edit: it is on discount right now so i'd definitely recommend buying it

On lesion I use mostly Make your choice and bbq, the ideia is to hit someone with frenzy , look if someone is close, if its not I just stop frenzy while trying to body block a survivor so I can land an easy hit. hook someone, look on for auras and go for that far away person. Hit the far away dude with the frenzy and back for the guy exposed by make your choice hitting a insta down and a injured person. Just repeat afterwards

I think a simple fix for legion is not needing to fully refill power gauge to use the ability again, sure keep the stun if you whiff but the most brutal part of legion is that power gauge refill requirement let it be half or a quarter and they can go again if they stab full refill like normal otherwise wait for quarter or half and try for a stab on top of someone

Beside the Add Ons the strongest perks for Legion are Nurse Calling and Sloppy Butcher tbh. I nearly don't need any other perks on rank 1 and I often don't even need Add Ons.

Im still running the good old enduring spirit fury build on legion. Just brute force your way through everything. If they're stupid they'll try to stun you in frenzy. If you get the frenzy hit and eat the stun with spirit fury you have an easy instadown

My favorite build on legion is thanatophobia sloppy butcher enduring spirit fury. With stolen sketch book and iridescent button addons. Stolen sketch book allows your frenzy to last long enough to hit all 4 survivors, injuring them for thanatophobia and sloppy butcher. Normally thanatophobia is a weak perk but on legion it is very good. Legion with stolen sketch book can easily keep 3 or 4 survivors injured all game. Spirit fury and enduring is all ready a great combo, but with iridescent button it is even better, allowing you to charge up spirit fury even faster by simply vaulting over pallets.

My least favorite map is Ironworks of Misery (Macmillan Estate); with the giant catwalk with several drop-off points for balanced landing and a god-tier window next to the stairs that good survivors can exploit to (seemingly) no end. It has one of the safest basements to escape from with the window, catwalk, and two side-exits nearby, and several other strong ruin-like loops that can give the killer some serious trouble. Totems are generally easy to find on the map so perks like ruin get eliminated quickly, while a fairly large map-size prevents the killer from exerting enough map pressure to keep the game under control (unless the survivors three-gen). Seriously, as the mid to low tier killers its downright brutal trying to chase survivors throughout the Foundry (the giant center building), with practically 0 mind game involved as the loop is so large and with no variation/cut-off point that you have to dedicate to the chase or simply let them go and hope to catch them in a less favorable location. The window loop is counterable with bamboozle, but other perks are generally better than it for most killers and using the perk in your loadout will almost guarantee one hate mail from a salty survivor that will grind you into the dirt for using a "clutch perk". Sorry that I'm rambling here; TLDR - it is a terrible map. Yes, this is coming from a killer main, but I do play survivor to maintain a fairly unbiased viewpoint on the game, and playing as a survivor on that map I can double down on my previously stated opinion - the map is terrible. Either I survive to the end without getting found, juke the killer for the ENTIRE game, or I eventually get caught because the killer fully commits to the chase and then camps/tunnels me to the end of the Earth out of spite. Note: Coldwind farm is certainly a trash killer map, though. Especially for trapper mains.

I would think thantaphobia would be more helpful than pop goes the weasel, as thanta is more passive and works well with legion, plague, and maybe hillbilly as survivors don’t really heal against him. And pop is a lot more activity needed, has a limited time to work, and yeah it’s really good but we’re playing legion, if it were someone like... we’ll any other killer that survivors would heal against, if survivors heal thantaphobia is indeed pretty useless and yeah pop is great at end game, REALLY GOOD like you showcased in this.

It never did its just they nerfed legion again so feral frenzy isn't a basic attack anymore
