NEW QUAD | SUZUKI LTR450 RIDE AND OVERVIEW

wsg i am back and i recently am working on a 2006 LTR450 , same everything as yours, cherry bomb, no baffle, open air filter. It's just a little worse condition than yours. i jumped the computer and put it in dealership mode and we got a throttle position sensor code and we replaced that and it was mint. it also had the same problems as yours but we fixed those. Little tip if you read this put a fuel filter on the line that runs for the tank to the fuel pump just as a secondary because your gonna eventually get dirt and grime in there and it will clog up the injector in time. Had an 08 myself back in 2011 they are fun bikes but stock suspension settings beat you hard on the trails now im older and enjoy the reverse on my 700r and better trail performance in tight trails

Huh really? Idk if the original owner messed with the suspension but mines feels fine on trails, has the same feel as my 2013 ltz had

lol I’m in my mid 30s and bought a 2004 400ex off the show room floor in my teenager stage and rode the hell outta it and sold it started a family then couple years ago I bought a 700r also and my goodness that thing is is butter on the trails and yes love the reverse!

Awesome quad. I’m debating a LTZ or LTR but I think the LTR is winner so far. By all the emissions stuff and cherry bomb what do you mean? Been a Marine mechanic for 10 years but new to quads. Never heard that terminology. Lol Thanks again for making the video.

The “cherry bomb” is a plug in map coupler that puts the quad on the race map so you can run it balls out lol

I’d go with the LTR tbh, at least with the ltr it’s easy to make power with it and cheap, where as the yfz if it’s the efi version your going to need a tuner for whatever pipe you get, also the LTRs keep their value and keep going up because they’re getting harder to find, if it’s clean I’d go with that but I’m also Suzuki bias. Just might have to deal with some fuel system problems if it sat but that’s a hit or miss, mine just had it from sitting
