New Raid Boss Carry in Patch 7.37e - Best Late Game 1 vs 5 Hero | Dota 2 Bloodseeker Guide

Love this build since months ago. He's my 2nd favorite carry after Slark. Magic build is a bit less effective if they have tanky supports though and/or if their supports get BKB/high magic resist because you'll want to kill their supports FAST during your BKB to heal from Sanguivore and rebuild that barrier. Typical item build is: Phase boots > Radiance > BKB > Agh Scepter > Bloodstone > Shroud/Refresher - I still like Phase Boots better to reach your target faster and to match it with +AtkSpd from Bloodrage, but hey I'm no pro. - Get Radiance if you can farm it, but if you can't or you _need_ to be active fast, go Maelstrom build. - BKB is needed in most games because BS is easy to kite, and you basically need to focus on one target until they die to heal up. BKB also nullifies the self-damage from Bloodmist while it's active. If they don't have too many disables and/or have BKB-piercing disables, maybe skip or get an SnY instead. - Aghs Scepter of course for the stats and Bloodmist. Remember to build up the barrier before fights if you can. - Bloodstone for the spell lifesteal _and_ increases the AoE for Bloodrite and Bloodmist. - Last item is match-up dependent. Refresher is good for most games to refresh your BKB and Rupture/s, Shroud if they have a lot of magic damage or for long fights. I've also seen Windwaker used in D2PT if they went super late, but I have no experience using it with BS yet. Windwaker might be good to counter Linkens/Mirror Shield. It could also be an MKB if needed, but I think your magic damage should be enough to deal with most carries if their BKB isn't available. Finally, seen some build Dagon. I haven't used it on BS yet, but it could be a decent alternative to Bloodstone and nuking carries/supports. Might be insane with Refresher too with 2x Bloodrite/Dagon and 4x Ruptures.

Tried BS today. It feels a bit like Bristle with the red facade. It's not too strong early but once you connect all the dots. Oh boy, it's really strong in late game and can man up easily.

I played bs yesterday and got absolutely demolished. Lane phase was terrible, it was me and warlock vs cent and sniper. Warlock fed fb, never blocked the camp, never did any pool, I couldn't even get close to the creeps. Mid game was unplayable, I had venom offlane. GG at 40min and people saying "bloodseeker sucks, can't carry, gg hc" lol

some games are unwinnable, just go next, or take a break to chill, maybe watch the replay to see if there was farm you could have taken, or kills that you could have contributed, don't get me wrong, your sup was stupid af, veno when you are losing is shit, and take a lot of space, but if a smurf was playing your hero, they could have done better, so YOU could have done better

Since he stomps every lane, the chance of griefing lowers by quite a lot. People don't grief when their team is winning, even if they aren't helping

I built this the moment the aghs came out. I’d argue this is my build creation . Speed is wrong you absolutely dominate early game however this guy is playing him wrong you play mid. Giving you a level gap in the ability to rush to sidelines easy to secure kills

right click is good IF that build speed is saying doesnt. But most games would use the build Smiling Knight uses. Maybe heros that dont have much magic.

He's pretty much a magic/hybrid carry at this point so I'm sorry to say, just use another hero if you want to right-click. His only right-click enabler skills are Bloodrage + Shard + Rupture (with Arterial Spray, but only on the Ruptured target) anyway. You might still want a Maelstrom for faster farming, so that's magic damage. Might be good to use a physical right-click build if the enemy team is building heavy magic resistance though. Looking at the alternative build on D2PT, it's still Maelstrom/Mjolnir, BKB, and Agh Scepter. Basher and Refresher after that.

I cant disagree more... u can easily go rightclick bs as hes so flexible with his build. Thats his main strength. And is equally relevant in almost all stages of the game. As an offlaner and pos 4 u need to be very on point vs blood as enemy safelaner and it forces u to go for less trades cuz u risk overextending very ez if your teammates in other lanes significantly drop in hp. Lets say u all in the pos 5. U spend most of your cooldowns and mana to get him and bs is too low to help him... then he suddenly lands a w on many neutrals and your creepwave, heals ridiculous amounts of hp very ez and turns on you. Best case scenario both of you tp out. He has a full min of freefarm and is able to completely reposition his creep equilibrium and suddenly he gets 6 before both of you... from that point on u need aditional numbers and a very well coordinated gank to kill him. Hes very good in the jungle, takes stacks insanely fast, can contest enemy stacks, and he does those tasks much faster with a rightlick build with just a value point in q. Radiance is situationally good on bs but most games any rightclick build does better. Falcon blade is insanely good on blood, blademail is good if youre playing from behind and can repay half of its cost in 1 good fight, if youre vs burst dmg and uncontrollable dmg ... early s&y, maelstorm into bkb, shadowblade, harpoon, difusal are good ways to go... if you play him enough ull see that some form of rightclick, farm accelerating and situational utility item are the way to go on bloodseeker. Radiance is good only if kinda snowball and leave laning stage advantagious team-wise. Same as dagon, as it can work wonders or ends up being a complete failure...

​@ Disagree. - He's got an atkspd/spell amp buff + pure damage from Shard, but it can be dispelled and can't be used while silenced. - Arterial Spray benefits from atkspd, but it requires someone to be Ruptured (which benefits from spellamp), and makes you likelier to go out of position with the more frequent knockback - He's got no scaling skills so he's often in trouble in ultra late game. - He's very kitable without BKB. - I assume a right-click BS would take the atkspd talent. While he jungles faster, not getting the +spellamp talent means, he can't nuke a whole wave with Blood Rite without showing on the map. - He should be farming for a Maelstrom (if you really want to right-click) or Radiance instead of a Falcon Blade in 99% of games. - Right-click BS can be countered with Ghost Scepter, while magic BS can be countered by BKB. Ghost Scepter is a lot cheaper and thus easier to buy for supports than BKB. If they get BKB, it has long cooldown if they use it. - Aside from +atkspd from Bloodrage, none of his talents makes him a better right-clicker What other right-click items are you thinking of? Blademail is ok, but I only get that if I'm pos2/3 BS. No one gets Desolator/Daedalus on BS.

@@lazylonewolf he should never get attack speed bonus on bloodrage talent. Q gives enough attack speed. He relies on getting kills with rupture and landing w on atleast the ruptured target. If you get a kill with that u want extra ms and rightclick power to finish off other targets too. Ghost scepter? Get dagon or nullifier, bkb? Let the target commit and rupture near the end of bkb duration or just go for other high priority target. Basher/abysall is also a great pickup on bs, mjollnir although it can be dispelled is also a very good pickup if u play correctly with the shield it provides. U dont want radiance aghs bkb every game. Sometimes getting dagon early gets your snowball going, sometimes early blademail, sometimes radiance, sometimes difusal, sometimes mageslayer or early maelstorm... hell sometimes getting an early rod of atos will be the best way... hero is just very flexible when it comes to build. It compensates for alot of his weaknesses. Bloodseeker always was an anti-carry and semi-carry and one should itemize to fuck up their cores and limit their presence in teamfights. U can do it in multiple ways. I just find rightclick bloodseeker more reliable as a teamfighter and as a farmer. He makes great use of early bkb. Ull want some stat item/rightclick item/utility item before bkb of course. As for falcon blade ... falcon blade gives him dmg for early skirmishes and ganks which he excels in, gives very good mana regen, and gives raw hp which bs likes very much since his heals are percentage based and has high base armor so he has a lot of effective hp. He has high base dmg also and falcon blade really gives decent dmg to further strengthen his sinergy with q farmwise and killwise. Hes kinda similar to razor... difference being bs has weaker laning stage and relies on level 6 and other powerspikes to be impactful, but farms alot faster and moves around the map faster amd can initiate ganks and teamfights from safety while razor really cant without a good disable from his teammats. Bs was and always will be kinda unreliable and coinflip core hero either as a pos 1 or pos 2 and should be picked last or 2nd last imho...

honestly anyone with an aoe heal, nuke or a disable stops BS in laning phase. Abaddon and Omniknight are a great counter to him. Heals, dispel, burst, (a pure damage heal/nuke for Omni) and a physical damage negater/shield makes it very hard for BS to lane early on.

So you want an offlane to get online around 20mins? most carry offlaner usually has 1 or 2 item to come online. Like a slark offlane with mage slayer and TB offlane with pipe. Alche and WK can offlane coz they're tanky with just radiance, but BS radiance cannot fight early and has to farm.

yea but the innate scales per level, so you have to at least reach lvl20 to have the old heal percentage from the old thirst, that's why he has weaker sustain in the early game

No Speed is wrong here, so his whole schpiel about bracer scaling well with his innate is also wrong. magic resist and armor would make his innate scale because the heal you're getting would go further.

Yeah that's the alternative build. I think Radiance is way better (if you can farm it) since it benefits from the +AoE and spell lifesteal of Bloodstone too just from you being near enemies, making you surprisingly tanky. Radiance also protects you (and your team) from right-clicks. Supports can't also just Eul's you or Ghost Scepter themselves since the Radiance + Bloodmist will still hurt them. If they Eul themselves, the AoE still hurts the others.

It's because you want to farm that Radiance or Maelstrom faster. If you are forced to jungle early, then getting Falcon delay them even further.

yea but the early sage masks is terrible in laning phase since you use a lot of your W to secure farm. early null talisman specially getting it with infused rain drop is good for mana management in the laning phase. but I'd consider falcon blade if I have a CM and Lion that can provide me mana and I need to fight early with that extra damage and health

Fellow Slark spammer here. I love using BS, but I hate him as Slark myself. He _is_ one of the classic counters to AM and Slark for a reason. Basically just avoid BS until you get some items (prob a Mageslayer in there too) and then Linkens.

@ It’s playable with a linkens on AM, but it’s basically an insta-loss on draft as Slark. Your best asset in teamfights, being baiting out spells, escaping out of vision to heal and hitting them again, is basically useless without using your ult.

From Guardian 3 to Guardian 5 yeah it is strong sometimes play it as carry offlane or mid 3 rampages in 2 days an 4 ultra kills strong if you have time to build and team not chain feeding But in this rank lot of supps go dmg items and so on and so on aa first item witch blade so we are low level plebs where you can be winning with almost anything not much communication swearing calling names team play is rare smoke ganks almost non existent roshan torments are not objectives 🤣🤣 If you go rosh more than twice you feel like you are pro player same for torment 🤣🤣
