LD units will use their innermost range when targeting an enemy base. Meaning, if there's nothing else for him to attack, he will walk to 250 range instead of the expected 600 range.

Money up combos are never good, only use wallet level up combos. But for this dojo, though, attack combos seem to be the better choice. Although, of course, the better option ultimately rests on your lineup and strategy

I got 6% by basically spamming lvl 50 courier with manic eraser and manic macho legs, and the occasional housewife. And I used just one Uber for a combo. I used 3 (4) combos, one small damage up; one medium damage up and the richest cat combos, which gave me a neat head start in cash. I used manic macho legs since I don‘t have brainwashed legs unlocked (😭) I also don‘t have savage blow for housewife, and also lack many other talents. Most of my units were lvl 50 though (courier, MML, can can, neo cutter) Lastly, I wouldn‘t consider myself a „good“ player, even after over 500 hours, but that‘s maybe because I watch too many videos of people who already have everything unlocked and I compare myself to them, point being, that for people who get to the stage where they require dark catseyes, this is fairly doable all things considered
