As promised, This was the FIRST video I watched when I walked in teh door tonight! I'm excited for this radio to become available for sale. HOPEFULLLY it's affordably priced. I'm so tired of having to work around a radio that was designed for airplanes, & figure out how to make it properly work our surface vehicles! I like their tray system they came up with for the radio! Too often the tray systems flop around too much to be of much use. The voice confirmation for binding is neat! Too often with the Spektrum radios you have to try to operate a model, only to find out that teh bind was unsuccessful. Have they let you know an ETA for when this radio might be available for us to acquire?

When I got my Flysky FS-i10 and it came with two speed sensors and a temp sensor. I would think in tanks or tow trucks the temp sensor on the motor or motors would be a handy thing to keep track of if you really work the models. This does look like a really nice surface radio with a lot of channels and features.

Question. You show that you can assign dualrate to any switch, but do you get dualrate on the sticks only or can you set up any switch/ channel for dualrate? As an exampel, on Beier sfr-1, prop #4 is assigned on a 3 position switch. On many radios i have set up to day, you are not able to use dualrates on these switches, they will only trow 100 - 0 -100 %, so you can only get 2 to 4 functions. If i could use dualrate on that 3 position switch, i could get up to 8 functions. The current truck i was helping out on had all channels oqupied, and the stick were the only ones that get dualrate, but had driving and hydrauliks set up on them and my friend did not want to mess up the mix and change them.

I saw this on banggood the other day and oh boy I drooled.. I want the flagship version, wait till august. And yeah 1st no, 2nd no, 3rd day of august bought it. Now today I have it in my hands HOLY crap it's nice AF. Quickly I looked for charge port but didn't see any port oh yeah wireless and I put it on my vertical phone charger. It worked = mind blown. Than later I found the wireless charger that it came with🤣(and keep mopping that drool)

Hi, is it possible to switch models with the Paladin? For example - a dump truck drives to the excavator and parks with the brakes on and the flashing light on - then I switch to the excavator to load the dumper - then I continue with the dumper.... This is the requirement for functional models and I am searching for a radio which can solve this. THX

@@RCbra It's a fine option for sure being able to switch models, letting one, or more, models go on 'idle'. I am interested in such a setup for my truck and excavator. On the other hand I see many hobby colleagues not so keen on this, but rather like to go for 1 (cheaper) radio for each model. In that way there is the possibility to have someone else drive that model. So there are different views here)

Love your videos! I just recieved my PL18 (none EV version) and should be receiving my EV version in a few weeks! Quick question, have you found a way to change the channel names or create a custom model profile. I design animatronics and would love to change the channel names or even just have them default to there numbers instead of the plane or construction names. Any help would be appreciated.

How many different models can this control. i.e. can you use this to control multiple vehicles to save having multiple controllers, for example if you have an excavator and lorry and tractor in your model room and switch between as you use them? Not 2 at once but it does have a switching feature to quickly go between models.

@@HiSteOfMnd tbh I think it's pretty reasonable, look at everything else on the market with 4d sticks, servonaut hs12 is nearly €1000 the scaleart commander is €1500 up to €4000 this will only really appeal to people really wanting 4d sticks as everything else about it while being good it's not that much of a benefit over the others avalable.

Before this new one from Flysky, it was the FrSky Taranis with aftermarket 3D sticks that were the cheapest radio in this class. Many says FrSky radio programming and setup is great. Will be interesting to see how this new Flysky does compared to the FrSky radios

Shame this radio is too expensive for most modelers. FlySky R&D prommised me a radio for truckers. this is just a re-hashed Paladin. Yes it is great for construction gear but too complicated for truckers.... maybe a simpler version will come out soon.
