Alright mate, very nice looking dart's, I hope they go great for you. K-Flex , brilliant, i use the Winmau Fusions, very similar and they last for ages. Plus no faffing about with busted ring's or flight punches. Good video and happy new dart's 👍🎯🎯👍🃏

Very nice, would be interesting to throw.....I would like the smooth part also as my middle finger wouldn't stick to the barrel...Cheers.

Damn, they look ideal for rear gripper, seems to be easy to have the same grip all the time 👌 hopefully I'll finally make it to throw the dart only with the thruster fingers and not with my middle finger too 😓

I’m a rear gripper, and really like the look of this dart. You mentioned it being very front heavy. Curious about your thoughts and advice on front vs mid vs rear weighted darts, and whether one favors a rear gripper (pencil style grip). There aren’t any decent dart shops where I live, so I don’t have a way to try each before buying. Thank you!
@StraightdartsАй бұрын
Its easier to get the dart to hit the board harder and higher when the weight is at the front, if you like your darts to kick up like Aspinal front heavy is better :)

I’ve been wondering if that particular angle is desirable. I can see its advantages. I’ve always had pretty much dead level entry. Prefer to go slightly under than over the target if I had to choose one and land in on the top. Obviously you can’t do that everywhere on the board. Prefer 16’s and I think flatter helps with that. Sometimes anyway. Great darts and value these, Daniel!
@potatoman80085Ай бұрын
That angle is desirable because it gives you a bigger and easier target to slide the next 2 darts in for scoring. The reverse works just aswell if they lie flat/downards you can more easily stack them. Just makes a difference to where you want your first dart to go. Upright you want to be at the top of the treble, flat/downards is better to be on the bottom of the treble to stack them on top. For doubles, as you mention when missing outside, the darts landing upwards blocks bottom board doubles, and downwards blocks top board doubles. it's definitely not something worth losing a lot of sleep over.
@StraightdartsАй бұрын
You want to either kick the dart up and make sure you hit the top of the treble of above or down like Taylors darts and land at the bottom of below. Your effectively creating a wall of darts to glance in off. :)

Poor Ross Smith is having a nightmare with his kicked up dart angle. His 16’s … what a nightmare of obscured target he had. But you have to take the best overall- your scoring target mainly. Thanks Daniel 👌

Haven't I asked about drill depth on your old darts? I should have seen this coming. :D I've kind of reworked my throw a short while back and can report happily that I'm now quite consistent with the back kicking up on not just short stems and No.2 flights, but quite a range of set ups, which is something I lost over time. So I can understand desperation and even found my new Clayton 2.0 to work even better than my previous barrels (which might have to do with the slightly shorter points). I'm curious though, what makes you decide on such a flat nose? I know quite a few players still use them and I still go back to them from time to time, but then I see flights wear and a couple of deflections that could have been avoided so I go back to my more or less extreme tapers just to become unsure which one is actually better. I mean, my one bull hattrick was with a front taper and very long points, so I have a tendency, but nobody could actually explain their advantage with a flat nose. I'm also kinda with you on the K-Flex for integrated flights, though I'm making my peace with Condor Axe on one hand, and then using my L-Style Dimple and Kami on the other, even getting to like Fit Flights, but when the day comes, I'll always grab my folding flights. They don't let me down. They don't warp in a case, they don't deflect as much and if they pop off it was for good (no deflection). I just fear the day it won't be standard enough it's the easiest accessible supply. I've still got a couple of hundred sets from bulk buys, but I'd prefer the security wherever I go I can find what I use should I need it for whatever reason.

My flights don't brake anyway and I like the added mass at the front to deleft them in, expecially with a short point :) It also helps to create more weight at the front. :)
@IntergalacticApeManАй бұрын
@@Straightdarts Cheers. Well, yes, with a better angle wear ain't that much of a problem anymore.

One thing I just noticed in this video: you seem to change the grip slightly after or during the pull back. At the beginning you hold the dart softer and your grip seems to tighten when you pull back. Is my observation right? Do you do this intentionally?
@StraightdartsАй бұрын
I slightly cock the dart back, abot like Adrian Lewis, the thumb slightly rocks backwards :)
@StainedDeathАй бұрын
How come you decided to run with that somewhat sharp tapered nose rather than a regular rounded bullnose?
@StraightdartsАй бұрын
Its the same as the Lewis genwori like the look and it keeps the mass at the front as well. I like it as front heavy as possible:)
