You don't need an engine, but the bystial engine allow you to calamity lock your opponent with etude of the branded, this is why the bystial version is the best version

One thing to note, don't shotgun red zone, because if your opponent uses Dark Ruler or Droplet, you can chain Red Zone, then Abyss to bypass the no monster responding rule.

Great tip! But don't forgot the card has two effects and can be used once each (1. Summon from banished zone & 2.Destroy one card if opponent activated a card). So yeah save the second effect for droplet

The new RDA supports are a great addition to the archetype. Playing Resonator/Bystials but found myself not using Bystials a lot, though it does help extend and allowed me to get Supernova, Nova, and Abyss out in 1 turn with Red Zone, Crimson Gaia, and Red Reign as back row.

Ancient Pixie is just a synchro bridge. Reason why we run her is because of Soul Reso being level 3,and without Bone (or if something happens to him without its effect procking) we can use Soul with Wildwind for Ancient Pixie. I recommend waiting for Kuibelt instead (a lvl 7), since its a better alt to APD

I recommend Ancient Pixie more than Baronne de Fleur now since we are easily locked to dark dragon synchro monsters very early. AP is just a synchro fodder and will be replaced by Kuibelt once it's released. If you don't have AP then play either another Scarred or another lvl8 dark dragon synchro monster,save those ur gems for Kuibelt

My recommendation for a red zone set is to not activate, and save it for when enemy uses dark ruler then you can chain red zone flip, into abyss dragon negste dark ruler 😂

Speedroid has a lot of more alternative plays I feel. Resonator is stronger now because of how easy it is for them to create Calamity which is one of the strongest Synchros out there.

We’re gonna have a synchro duel soon so I’m watching resonator videos to get an understanding of the deck, but so far I agree w ur statement where Resonator is stronger now, but I don’t think speedoids are too far behind either !

@@kajin2422 Speedroid has access to the clear wing. Crystal Wing and Clear crystal are ridiculously good. Speedroid has multiple lines you can do. If you ash resonator at a certain point the deck falls flat not as bad as Stardust but it is easily disrupted.
