Approaching machine last effect is a nod to " Stop Defense" not kunai with chain. Metal copy cat effect is to make summon the new red eyes metal dragon easier by changing its type to dragon. Making it a level 5 on your opponents to turn to use enchanced metal morph. Full of duelist kingdom references.

The copy cat rework is for the deck. It increases its level by 4 during the opponents turn because you would be activating your set metalmorph card on draw phase/ standby phase and it becoming level 5 makes it available for either red eyes or zoas new form, because they require a level 5 or higher fiend or a level 5 or higher dragon. Copycat can declare what type it wants to become prior to passing turn.

Metal copycat is meant to allow your to activate enhanced metamorph during your opponents turn and tribute the metal copycat which should then be lever 5 and treated as any card type like fiend or dragon, then bam, new red eyes or new zoa during your opponents turn.

I thought of some names for future Red Eyes support. They just need effects. I came up with some. Feel free to come up with effects to the ones that don't. Let me know your thoughts. If things need balancing or if it's too OP. I don't necessarily play competitively but I feel like for those that do or when we feel like playing that way, Red Eyes should be competitive enough to hold it's own. That also goes for BE and DM but BE and DM have way more support than RE. Their support is just "chef's kiss" compared to RE. RE needs more consistency. RE doesn't know what it wants to do. Mostly they've focused on equip cards, gy, searching recycling, burn damage and boosting ATK from GY. We need stuff we can pitch to Konami to make the deck cohesive, fun to use and viable. Using all of its strategies working together in synergy with things that help keep them on the field and defend against modern cards. I personally would like to see all of Joey's staples work together with RE like how Giltia does for example. Cerise in Ebony (Continuous Spell) Red Eyes Potential (Continuous spell) Red Eyes Fury (Counter Trap) Red Eyes Revenge (Counter Trap) Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of each monster's ATK. Red Eyes Salvation (Trap) Red Eyes Sovereignty (Field Spell) Red Eyes Remedy (Quick play Spell) Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field and gain life points equal to one monster's ATK. Red Eyes Repayment (Trap) Search your deck and discard up to 3 cards from your deck to the GY and banish up to that many cards from your opponent's deck of your choice.
