Did you have to get a special electrical outlet or could you use a regular 15 amp outlet? You sure have had great success with your reef. It is so relaxing to watch and so balanced. Do enjoy how you describe your corals. You never leave anyone out.

I have a little softie Nano and I love it. It's so different to hard coral tank. I ended up putting my clown fish pair in there on their own and they seem much happier 😂

Very nice . Quick question if I could . The lights are you running them at 15,20,or 23k ? I have a 625 with 3 160s and the manufacturer was telling me to take one away . In the first year and help would be appreciated. Tried acro but I think I keep burning them . Thank you

I run them at 80% blue and 100% white which is probably around 15k. Mine is a 425. I use 3 lights to avoid shading. There might be something else going on and not bleaching due to high light.

I think some lights are just brighter than others... my 2 redsea 90s melted soft corals.. I have them backed off to 25% currently, the surviving corals appear to be coming back. Too much light kills in a day or 2

@@swissfragreefer ah sorry about, I thought I saw one in an earlier video. I just picked one up and it’s in quarantine right now. They are a difficult fish to feed. 😬 How do you keep tangs without any aversion? I had a purple tang in my 100G and he would bully me swallowtail angel. I sold the purple and got a whitetail bristle tooth. Two days later, the bristletooth killed my swallowtail. I can’t seem to get it right. Now I’m afraid of introducing the Copperband after his quarantine.

IDK they just get more or less good along. I put them both in at the same time. I also heard the purple tang is usually more aggresive then the atlantic blue I have.

My clowns were mean too and now, I know why. They’ve been spawning every few weeks. Kinda cool.

I tried to isolate the eggs with only the clowns but the other fish ate them all. Interestingly, my shrimp, snails and starfish all seemed to sense the eggs, trying to eat them too. Good luck if yours spawn

Good question! I was the spread of light. I wanted to only use LED lights and get the maximum spread. I run 3 of them now on 80%. If they are “really” better in spread I can not say since I do not own the 90🙂
