Haven’t tried them and I’m basing these off from what I’ve seen so far as a skateboarder myself. That rubber peace in the toe box is usually for extra durability but seems too short and not wide enough, the cushions in the back probably to keep the heel area secured. But going back to what you said in the beginning about it skaters not liking Reebok and stuff, I can understand cause a bunch of there’s shoes especially the club c and workout plus have been use by skaters since the 80s-90s and then in the mid 2000s one of the top skaters at the time Stevie Williams actually had a shoe contract with Reebok and made a line of shoes that sadly never got released officially Or they did but nothing came out of it at the end, just a short lived line for Reebok. And now they seem to be tapping back in but aren’t fully committing even though they a lot of people wanting them to official start a skate team or official shoes. Shit I started skating reeboks cause one of my favorite skaters used to skate nothing but Reebok

Also no judging on you wearing stuff that skateboarders wear, if you want baggy clothing I’d recommend some core skate companies. Like cash only, butters goods, shinzo tribe. Now those are average from 90-120 usd. Mainly cause they’re not a big company and don’t have the resources like Levi’s do But are the same quality, and if you don’t mind spending $150 there are polar jeans “big boys” amazing quality but on the expensive end. if you’re looking for a budget friendly maybe some ccs baggy tapered Or there snap on cargos. And last but not least empyres, def not core skate brand but they ain’t half bad. Just stay away from insta brands that are always saying. I made these jeans for you guys or they’re only $50 cause most tend to be rebranded drop ship pants that cost them $15 to order

Honestly, these go harder than dunks at a better price and better material unless you consider the premium dunks which are too hyped and too expensive. Just your regular dunks off the shelf are trash, feel like plastic.
