New Release! 21-22 Upper Deck Stature Hockey Card Hobby Box opening and review.

Opening a single 8 card pack (box) of newly release 21-22 Upper Deck Stature "Premium" hockey cards. At $180ish canadian these arn't cheap, but for now you are at least guaranteed 1 on card hard signed auto. My box sadly wasn't the best, but I'm ok with that. I prefer to show a realistic box most people will get while still showcasing the cards. I'd buy another box though, so that's saying something. Thanks for watching!

Its not a box of cards.... Yes its in a box A "box" that has only...1 PACK ... is a PACK ! They call it a box so you feel like your not getting screwed paying $150+ for one pack of cards ! A pack of cards for $150 ...crazy ! A box of cards for $150.. not bad 😊 ( see it worked ) So glad I left the hobby in 1998 Got out with money in my pocket and many collections I picked up for 5%-10% on the dollar 😉 I'm now sitting on 150K cards I'll go digging someday I know there's good R.C's buried in that monster box mountain ! Thank you for the video.... I do enjoy watching all of you card collecting KZbin ers open packs boxes whatever... I don't know why that one pack in a box thing bothers me so much... it just does 🙄 Anyway thanx again & best of luck w/ the channel and all the box / packs you open ✌️🙂

The black color match Moser is probably the nicest card. We should live in a world where the auto is the nicest card but here we are lol

It's has to be the right numbered variant of that 2 card. Has to be #/99, #/66 or #/33.

They had the same amount of variants in 20/21 as 21/22 they aren’t printing more, it’s pretty much the same setup as last year. Gustavsson was one of the top goalies in the league last year and Moser is one of the best defenseman in Arizona.

Last year there were base parallels and portraits. That's it. This year there are base, base photo variant, base design variant, and base photo and design variant. That's 3 new styles and 2 extra different sets of parallels with portraits being gone. They are undoubtedly printing more.

@@dusterdonnybrook maybe “more” is too board of a term because a lot of those extra designs are very limited numbers as well. Don’t think more limited serial numbered cards are a problem actually it’s usually when they add loads of unnumbered parallels like Ice that’s when you know the product is watered down. They provide a lot more hits per box as well, it’s only increased statures value too cause every year it gets more higher valued. The thicker card stock which you mentioned you didn’t care for, fixes one of the complaints many ppl have with opcp about the bowing of the cards too.

You can word it how you want. The fact is those added parallels allow them to print thousands more boxes, thus watering down the product.

@@dusterdonnybrook so far watering down the product hasn’t really happened since Stature is the talk of the hobby right now. The only people that have been hating on it are the people that make it part of their shtick to hate on every product.
