you just saved me a buttload of time going through this with my own RW deck! thank you! I get beautiful comforting vibes from this deck the minute I held the box, and the artwork is so sweet. I got it primarily because I have zero free time at the moment and RW takes me ages to read, so I wanted something that was more intuitive so I can read it faster and I did get that from a lot of the cards. Also Because I have no life right now cos i'm at drama school I REALLY miss nature and equally as much as I LOVE my RW deck - it's helped me out enourmously the last several years, I really don't vibe with the religious symbolism in it. When I flipped through when it arrived yesterday I was like 'i... don't get this' for quite a few of them. Like the octopus and the axolotl, and also the inconsistency: All the cups are water related - water = emotions - makes snense. All the swords are bird/air related - Swords = mind, RW frequently has stormy skies in their swords suit... ok. Pentacles is called coins which is whatever, and they're very earthy - physical realm. Bears and bugs and stuff - cool. But Wands is energy and all dragons and lizards.. which makes sense... but then also a random desert fox and a camel?. And i get they're from hot places but if you're clearly going for a theme... stick with it? . It sort of follows RW but not fully and I find that very confusing - it feels like a hybrid between tarot and oracle and I love the definitions in the book but thematically please commit fully to following RW structure or don't at all. Also the size of them pisses me off - i hate how big and difficult to shuffle oracle cards are. That said, i am looking forward to working with them, but I don't think it's going to be the quick intuitive replacement I'd hoped for.

Hello, first of all English is my second language. hearing your sweet voice and reading the guide book at the same time was a great help for me in understanding this deck. I admit that I am mixed for certain cards lover, 4 of cups … I have the impression with certain cards of having an oracle and on the other a tarot. I'm still going to keep the deck, I like the drawings. thank you for taking the time to make this video. Joie de vivre means joy of living, enjoyment of life. 🌼

Wow, thank you! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video and I hope it helps with your learning. The card deck has resonated for me quite a bit as well. It's funny how certain artwork when I look at it on the internet won't resonate for me and then when I hold it in my hands it completely resonates and then I'll get the opposite sometimes too where I think that images online resonate so much and when that I hold them in my hands I get nothing 😁 I am really enjoying these cards and I hope that you do too.

I just got mine and while I'm absolutely in love with the presentation, the packaging and the art, I'm having some trouble with the meanings of the cards... I read with the RWS system and some of the meanings in the cards left me kinda lost, like for example, the swords suit isn't really giving me sword energy, so I'm here kinda scratching my head like... what? The swords ain't swording 😅 I guess I really need to bond with it and give the book a thorough read.

I hope you do bond with it. I did not like the deck at all when I first got it but the messages I get are very meaningful to me. So much so, this deck has become my primary go-to deck for my own readings exclusively. I don't think I'll ever use this deck for reading on another person. My favorite thing about this book is that it gives you the definition or the meaning of the card based on the position it is laid.

Thanks for reviewing this deck! You stopped me from making an impulse buy. I think the book it comes with is wonderful, but the art is weak in my opinion.

I understand exactly what you're saying. I connected so much with the book that I have kept the cards and I'm actually working with them daily cuz they've resonated with me so much. The problem I am finding is that the cardstock is peeling on the edges so the black borders are turning white and papery.
