I am convinced that what we call "magic" is actually quantum physics that hasn't been fully proven yet. I want to learn more about quantum physics but what I do know is freaking wild. My intro to it made me realize that Dr. Strange is (technically) possible in reality. Now, is any human awakened enough to actually manipulate the world to that degree? Probably not LOL but WHOA!!!

When I “push” energy into my cards, at the end I “retrieve” it, I “pinch” my magic circle and pull everything into an energetic ball. Finally, I shake it and direct it to my plants or my pup with the following words: let this energy be healing and protective to other beings. Done. With that I close my reading sessions.

I have been doing the shuffling until the deck feels ready unconsciously since I began reading cards many many years ago. A couple years ago I began choosing cards by energy sensing as you are describing. I like that you have validated my new way of doing it.

Fortuna 🤩🌟💜 Finallyyy got around to this. I appreciate your transparency about how in the very beginning you didn't believe in it because for myself I used to struggle a ton with sensing energy, and so whenever I'd hear other practitioners talk about their energetic experiences I felt somewhat skeptical and also incredibly frustrated that I was unable to share that ability. Many years later I eventually took an energy work class and our instructor actually had us do this Tai Chi stretching sequence everyday along with the hand exercise you talked about! Following along with the tai chi video daily is what helped me realize that I feel my own energy a lot easier through mindful movement, such as yoga for example! After that it became easier to tap into and I LOVE embuing my energy and connecting with my decks in a similar way as you!! 🥰 I'm excited for the rest of this magic of divination series!! 🙌👏

Thanks for the invitation to share Lisa! For me, although clairsentience is one of my strongest clairs, I don’t sense energy reliably the way Lisa shares here. Instead I send my awareness to the object and connect psychically. Crystal Ex: I connect my energy with the crystal’s through my heart chakra by holding the idea/thought/image/knowing/feeling of the crystal in my awareness and gently intend to connect to the crystal. When I connect, then I may feel the energy or other clairs are activated such as images, feelings, words, or thoughts. Example of cards: once they are fanned, I scan with my eyes and notice when one grabs my attention, sometimes it is visual (I fixate on a part of that specific card) sometimes it is a knowing (I just know it is that one; quick decisive intuition). I hope my experiences help open up other possibilities or validate someone else’s experience 💖

Loving this woo woo series! Quantum physics and string theory totally support my understanding of energy work. This was del8ghtful! I got my start in witchcraft via Reiki. The friend who is my Master-Teacher is also a longtime witch. She taught us (I was part of a class she did) that Reiki can work alongside a variety of spiritual practice or none at all. Between first and second levels of attunement I started looking into witchcraft via energy work and it all seemed to fit so well together to give me what I needed. This is why I work with both the Energetic and Psychological models in my practice.

FORTUNA Thank you for sharing and describing the more woo aspects of your practice. These things are often so difficult to describe well and you did it beautifully. I have never been dogmatic in my practice. It is likely a combination of me beginning my practice in a solitary manner before there was KZbin or other readily available online sources. Plus I am naturally averse to dogma. Your practice aligns very closely with what I have developed over the years. I truly believe intention matters far more than the actual tools we use. I love having and using different items however I trust that all I need is the intention. The rest is delicious icing on the cake. Reiki wax a natural evolution for me because energy was something I was always cognizant of and it was such a powerful confirmation working with others and experiencing it within a group dynamic. Lovely video! I look forward to more!

I love that you showed the 'quick and dirty' method of energy picking cards! I think too often we see only the 'beautiful social media' version of practices, and that can make it really hard for people who maybe can't manage the more long and drawn out (and image conscious) versions of a practice, but they could totally use the quick method! Also, for anyone who is just learning to feel energy....it's not always going to be big and flashy...and it's not always going to be a 'touch' sensation. You might feel a slight push/pull from the thing you're sensing, you might hear a sound or smell something. You might just have an image pop into your head! I have used the energy picking method for tarot draws for ages, and sometimes there isn't anything specific I could even point to, I just get the impulse that 'this is the card', and I go with it (for me, trying to figure out 'why I felt drawn to this card' just makes me doubt myself, if I just pick my cards and go with it, it works.

Can't get enough of this topic and am so grateful for what you've shared! I keep saying over and over to the skeptics in my life that one day quantum physics will explain eeevverryythiiing... I first really tapped into energy with crystals and will sometimes draw tarot cards the same way as you first showed (eager to try your second way 😃). Have honestly fancied sometimes that I've been able to direct flies and bees back out the window with it! 😆 But, truly, I've also experimented with pushing what I visualize as a pink bubble of...love, I guess?...out from my heart center to those who seem to need it, trying it on a cat in my yard first that was just zoning out at something until my "bubble" barrier reached it, and it immediately turned and looked at me through the window. 😸 Anyway, um...I really want to get in an energy-ball fight now. ☄😂
