Out of all the pick ups, Seven Samurai and Police Story/Police Story 2 were the best. Time Bandits was pretty good, but I'm biased because I'm a Terry Gilliam fan. The guy on the Querelle cover was Brad Davis, who starred in one of the best prison movies ever, Midnight Express. Randy Quaid should have been nominated for Best Supporting actor for that.
