For a PHEV to be valuable regarding pollution, and climate change, and finance, it *must* be plugged each night. So you must have a charge point, even just a 3 kW home plug, at home or at work. But then you can buy an EV, and it will be far better for pollution, and climate change, and finance, but also comfort, performance, maintenance, etc. A Tesla model 3 SR+ costs almost the same as a Renault Captur Plug-In Hybrid, at least in France but probably also in other European countries, and it is as versatile as an ICE car thanks to the fantastic fast charging network of Tesla. And you have all the benefits of a pure EV. And if you do not like the style of the model 3, and depending where you live, and how often you travel across Europe, other EVs from other brands can be almost as versatile as a model 3 tanks to fast charging networks such as Ionity. A good way to find the perfect match for your needs is to play with a road trip planing tool such as ABRP.

Nope we live in a border county and thought oh yeah Northern Ireland has chargers everywhere. Many of them were vandalised or just not working. Imagine now only having pure EV you'd be stuck.

Not much use to me, it’s LHD and unlike my Jag XJ Portfolio the speedometer is metric. Is the front reality only the width of two steering wheels? In topped at 140kph = 80mph. My speedometer hasn’t reached the halfway point at 80mph mine 180mph - tops at 155mph. Had a Renault Megan a while back - a sad story.
