I picked up my new Clio today... a couple of years ago I lost control of my old Clio on a nasty bend and to this day, I swear if I'd been driving anything other than that Clio, I wouldn't be typing this!

I love this car! :D I'm getting myself a Clio early next year, a Mk2 facelift model... Because I can't afford a newer one and I don't like them anyway. But! I wish I could afford this new one, it's beautiful.

I think it looks very good for this segment - Really like the lower belly line, thats quite some dynamic lines there. The hidden rear door handles, as already mentioned by other commenters, is no news at all, but it´s still a nice element. Was missing some more info about practicality, cause driving will be more interesting when the sport´s versions reach the market.

I really like the design of this car, but the volumes allowed for even smoother/more rounded shapes, especially above the rear wheel. Still looks great though.

If it basically is the same engine maybe you can get your engine closer to the modern ones by upgrading your ECU? Just a thought.

Can please someone tell me how can I disable the traction control? ESP/ASR?? there is no button for it like all the cars I know...I tried to call Renault in UK but they don't answered me about this question...
@milosilic2312 жыл бұрын
True, you could have done that to a Kia Soul years ago And it had more choices :)

Don't talk bullshit. Renault has some of the highest crash protection technology and safety ratings of any car. VW initially had a relative poor rep for safety not so long ago, well, it was about average nothing to rave over.

I drove this new Clio few days ago. I don't like look of the car, when you look it from side, proportions are all wrong. But there are few things I didn't like in car, first, on rear seats, car don't have so much headroom as old model, in Clio 3 I was ok, in this one NOT - I'm 186 cm - 6'1 tall. Second thing is gearbox, it's not good as before, so I'm little disappointed with car...

ok.. i think you are the oonly one that doesnt like this car design.. i mean it's futuristic design.. it will last like the last fiesta.. the design its inspired by De Zir and Renault alpine concept car.. great designs.. that's your oppinion and i respect it.. when you said you didnt like it, i thought you're joking.. but hey.. there is no accounting for tastes :)

Fucking technology evolving all the time. I have the same 1.5 dci lump, yet it produces 80bhp and just 50mpg, good for 2005, but well jel of this engine.

You can't compare CLIO with GOLF mate, You can compare it with Polo, Fiesta, Ibiza, Punto, 208, Swift, C3. And the comparative of VW Golf is Megane, Focus, Leon, Astra, Giulietta, C4.
