I just received my Rephr concept brushes and noticed the same thing when comparing them to BK Beauty foundation brush and the Angie concealer brush. Both are very dense and pull and drag too much. The Rephr brushes glide more easily on my older skin, and blend better. I especially appreciate the softness around my eyes, no tugging or pulling and the slightly smaller size of the concealer brush just is a better fit for my smaller, hooded eyes.

I've watched a few videos on these brushes, but found yours the most helpful, thank you! The comparisons and demo - especially that slowed down foundation blend around your nose - finally made me add to cart. The concealer brush looks to be sorta like what I hoped the Angie brush would be like. Can't wait to try it!

I am so surprised how dense the BK Beauty brushes are and have been wanting softer brushes. I have a few Rephr brushes and love them. So glad they created these! Thanks for the comparison, Kiki!

These look very good. Love how the foundation one works around nose contours. With the denser brushes I can never get around sides of nose properly.

Thank you for the comparison with BK beauty! I have now this Rephr brushes set. But the concealer brush is so scratchy for me. I stopped using it because of that, even though the performance was great. Did you notice any prickliness in your brushes?

I didn't at all - you might want to give it a wash - perhaps there's some residue on it?

The brushes look exactly like Ami Cole brushes.

I find synthetic brushes easier to clean than real hair brushes and they hold their shape better.

That's why they went full synthetic with these - the "people" asked for them because they're easier to clean.
