Rents are going up because of property taxes going up. Property taxes are going up because public schools keep asking for more and more money that is only going to the administrators salaries instead of the actual school maintenance and operation like it’s supposed to.

Austin had become a place where dream die because you cant afford to work on them when 80% of your check goes to rent. I'm a local so I know. It once was a beautiful city but now with all the GREEDY developers and city council Austin just gave themselves a 30 thousand dollar raise

Economy wages don't meet economy needs... government doesn't want people to live life..live close to homeless & be that. There's too much in America for any hardships we endure..a decent affordable roof over your head should not be an expensive option. But if there's homeless the price to live in this homeland is continuing to rise. Why? We are not a third world 🌎 country struggling 🙏🙏 yet. Blessings 🙏🙏
