I bought this as soon as it was available. I love the color story! I know many wanted the greens but I like this one. I saw ND on a live Instagram and she said she's not done with the retro palettes that there's more to come. I look forward to that one as well. Love your look!❤

Mandy, I’ve been watching makeup videos for years and out of all the beauty KZbinrs you are by far (very far) the absolute best. You apply your eyeshadows in a simply gorgeous way that they are not too much yet are stunning. I’d love to see swatch comparisons to the Colourpop palettes. At first glance, the cooler toned shadows from this palette remind me of my favorite Wet n Wild quad/quint, Petalette. I love the light purple shimmer and the plummy color from that quad and always look for similar shades when I buy better quality single shadows.

I swatched the two CP palettes Mandy mentioned on Friday, and threw in two shades from the CP Taupe palette to dupe the Jude and Opart shades. Almost shade to shade dupes for every color.

I like her looks too but I don’t think they were anything special. For the cost of that palette the shimmers didn’t look all that special in my opinion. But she looks pretty in any look she does.

I’m so excited to hear she’s coming out with another retro palette! I think most everyone was a bit disappointed this was supposed to be the retro. While it’s a beautiful palette (like Mandy said, this was my vision for the Love palette), we wanted more of those grungy greens!

I adore these dusty rose matte shades so very much. I immediately did my eye makeup when i opened my package with this palette hahaha. I got the bundle with the glam palette so I'll be trying that soon. I don't wear a ton of neutral looks but it's nice to have them for sexy classy looks and both the palettes fit in that category lol

Also: Mel Thompson did a GREAT video 4 months ago where she used Sydney Grace shadow singles to make her interpretation of what a retro palette based off the mini would look like! It's beautiful, UNIQUE, and though it may be more expensive, I'll be recreating her version for what a "retro" palette should be. I am still looking forward to what ND comes out with for a green retro palette.

So I absolutely was going to purchase this palette, because I bought a Love palette that had a couple bad shades that where patchy and would migrate. I actually through two shades out from the palette don't know if there are other bad shades, because i haven't used the palette since. Your first eye look is amazing! I stopped the video to write abs to save your video in a file. Looking forward to seeing your night time look.

Two beautiful eye looks! This is supposed to be the retro version of the Glam palette. She said in her IG live that there's more to come in the retro line. I'm allergic to the Colourpop formula, and the quality is no rival to ND in my opinion. However, I do probably have most of the shades in my Sydney Grace collection. 🙂 Still excited about receiving my Retro palette tomorrow.

Valid point about CP but the quality is way different. My CP palettes from last year have lost so much pigment and crumbly. My Nd is still on point. Love your videos.

I actually decluttered my CP palettes that had similar colors as soon as I got my retro in bc of that! I'd rather have them in the better formula. However, if I couldn't afford or didn't want to spend the money on the ND one I would happily take the CP as an alternative. Another CP that reminded me of it was the menage a muah

Originally I was disappointed in the color story thinking of what I had wished it had been… like the mini. Seeing it for what it IS however makes me appreciate it. It’s beautiful, subtle and a fresh Natasha Denona take on berries for the fall. I just love the midi size. I’ll never, and let’s face it, most of us makeup lovers won’t ever hit pan in our palettes, so I appreciate the lower price point with similar number of shades.

I want to want this palette so badly. If it were a little deeper, like the promo/website photos, I would totally jump on it! "groove", "rebellion" and "swing" are too red for me.
