Hey guys! Today I am sharing with you some thoughts on the new Natasha Denona Retro Glam palette! I did not plan to get this one, but when I saw it in person I just couldn't resist! It is GORGEOUS! So we are going to do 2 looks with it today as well as some palette comparisons. Do I have anything else similar in my collection? I hope you enjoy this one!!

I ended up buying this palette, even though I swore I wouldn’t 😅 AND the Sydney Grace x Mel Thompson collection Mel’s Memory 🙏🏼💜💖 I just couldn’t help myself. I miss Mel so much and I know she would have been excited to see Natasha’s and she would have compared the two. And it supports her family which warms my heart ♥️

Hi Mandy! I appreciate you voicing the battle you have of the “should I, shouldn’t I?” on purchasing this palette because I did the exact same thing. I had just gotten the My Dreams & I think the new Makeup by Mario palette too, so I knew I didn’t need it. What it came down to for me was that it was the palette that I was wanting the original Retro palette to be, as in it had the feel of the Mini Retro palette. I had been waiting for that for a long time! I would absolutely love to see a 7 Looks One Palette on this one!❤❤

Yeah, the full size palettes are too expensive and there’s just SO MUCH PRODUCT. The My Dream palette came out shortly before the Retro Glam.

I went with the Sydney Grace In Mel's Memory bundle instead. More shades, more depth, and the awesome SG talc-free formula. (Plus I love that it supports Mel's family.) They are definitely your colors.

I bought it during the vib sale also and don’t regret it. I do collect her palettes. I did get my dream palette with my points from Sephora too. The color story is unique and I mix them up to my liking with my other ND palettes. I added some deeper tones from my Bronze palette to add depth. Those colors are so beautiful on your eyes.

I love this palette. I'm very pale so the colors work great for me. The "darker" shades are actually perfect for depth. I can't wear a dark shadow, I look awful. So I've been enjoying this palette so much. Most expensive palette I will ever own but it will get used often.

Yep, I bought it too. I grabbed it the last day of the Sephora sale and got 20% off or I wouldn’t have bought it at all. 🥰With that discount I couldn’t resist! Btw, this palette was released on Sephora the last day of the Sephora sale. I think it was Nov 8th. I have trouble balancing my “two sides” as well. However, beautiful makeup makes me so happy! Sometimes it feels selfish but honestly we as wives and hard working mothers/grandmothers deserve to pamper ourselves! Still I try to limit myself but it doesn’t go well this time of year with all of the sales lol. I never did pick up the Pastel palette. It just doesn’t speak to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️Maybe one day if the discount is good enough I might try it but I’m happy using my BH Cosmetics Los Angeles palette for that pastel itch which I really never get haha. If I used it more I would be more tempted by the ND Pastel. This lighter colored Retro Glam palette interested me because even though it is lighter, the color combinations are stunning and I loved the mini retro so there’s that.

I'm surprised you didn't think to compare the greens to the Essence Greens palette, knowing that it's one of your favs. I have yet to spend the money on a Natasha palette, but I'm going to try to recreate this beautiful look with the Essence one. 😊 I LOVE mint choc chip, it's my favorite, always has been. But the chocolate chips have to be real, not the waxy ones, yuck. Add a little dark chocolate hot fudge on top - perfection! 😁 Your tree and background is so pretty, I'm sure you are loving your first holiday filming in your new studio setting. xo

The greens in this palette are like neutral greens and so wearable. I was so scared of greens until I caved and got this! I love it so much there’s so many looks you can create with it! Not just green greige. I have nothing quite like it!

When you began the first look with the pinks, I actually said, 'Ewww' out loud. But then it turned out so well - super pretty!! But that second look was absolutely super!! Those really are the shades I adore but rarely wear - they always look so good on the YTers I watch but I look cringe-y in them.... Personally, I'm very happy you bought that palette. Your eye color is killer in the 2nd look!! Just finished watching, mint anything is simply the best thing on earth!!

The My Dream Palette did come out before the Retro Glam...both are beautiful palettes. You should definitely take a look at the Sydney Grace Mel Thompson bundle...It's truly gorgeous, the quality is amazing and it's a beautiful tribute to Mel's memory.

Love both the eye looks. Thanks for doing two and using both the “bright” colors. I find it frustrating when reviewers review a palette and then use the neutral, safe colors. I like color but need to see an example of how to use them. Beautiful palette- if I wore make more often I would justify it’s purchase. As it is, I barely use the palettes I own.

When I 1st saw it I wanted to get it asap. Then I got hesitant and not too sure. So I pulled out my Lime Crime XL2 (although that one is more grungy) and now I’m all for soft green eyeshadow. It’s on my wishlist now since I’ve placed an order at Nomad and Oden’s eye. So maybe I’ll get the ND palette next year. Love the looks you made and I would love to see a 7 looks video with this palette ❤

I usually work with mid tone neutrals, so it was a bit challenging figuring out how to work with light and cool colors, but now that I have it figured out I LOVE it! I get the most gorgeous ethereal/natural looks from it ✨️ Also I never want the My Dream palette till I swatched that one at the store and it's definitely on my wish list for summer. Need to limit myself lol lol

I just got this palette in my Ipsy as my boost product and I was so excited! Then I saw it and I was nearly breathless! Then…I was terrified, and I haven’t played with it yet. My issue is about the quantity of palettes in my collection. I want to buy everything and I am trying to refrain from those impulses. I did not purchase the ND Dream palette or the Huda Beauty palette. I did buy the Abh Nouveau and this one. I prefer muted colors these days. These olive green taupes really pulled me in and I love it. I have a slightly warm olive undertone. My skin is light warm in shade this time of year.

I did not buy this palette; however, I do have Mel's Memory Palette. Which to me it was one or the other because they are so close in color story. I was excited for N.D black Friday deals and was able to pick up the Triochrome, Circo Loco, and the Biba. Merry X-mas to me! I was surprised with their shipping too. Ordered first thing Thanksgiving Day and received it three days later.

I’m passing on this ND palette. I’m brunette and there’s too many mint greens in this for me personally. The Essence Dancing Green palette is all the green I need when I feel like switching up from my more neutral palettes and it only cost me €3 😃

Love the eyeshadow looks you created w/this, they truly are beautiful. And as much as I love makeup 💄😍, I don’t own anything remotely that expensive, lol and probably never will. But I do think it is an investment, but the word investment is in the eye of the beholder(so to speak). If it makes you happy, and you enjoy using it, and it makes you feel confident & good, then it is an investment in your mental health, and that’s the best investment of all(IMO)!!!!
