Bad idea: [R ability (The Elbow Block) for Hitman] In the show, Mashiba used an elbow block against Ippo’s Right to shatter Ippo’s fist but ended up breaking his elbow and being unable to use the Hitman Flicker jab. This ability would grant you a temporary block, not holdable like the regular block, meaning it requires perfect timing to execute. It can have a shorter cool down, similar to the shotgun’s cool down, and will have a separate shield bar from the standard one. This damages the enemies hand and deals damage to their health bar as well, possible debuff whereby the enemies attacks deal less damage after being elbow blocked. Additionally, because an elbow block is being used, the Hitman user is still able to maintain the Hitman stance and fire an attack immediately after the elbow block and making it hard for the enemy to escape, rather than having a few stagger frames like the regular block has. The enemy could also be potentially staggered from the elbow block since it directly hurts their fist. But, if this elbow block bar were to be broken then this will deal massive damage to the Hitman user and they will be unable to use their M1 for a period of time. The recharge rate of the elbow block’s shield should be fairly slow so that the move is used sparingly. But it’s ability cool down can be quick to allow for a quick use in a dire situation. Overall, this makes it a risky but useful tool for the Hitman style that provides good debuffs and damage on the enemy but if used too frequently can also bring major drawbacks. Not sure how it would work on ultimates, it could block them entirely like the regular block or it could not (share your thoughts and ideas please). *TL;DR*: Elbow block idea for Hitman, staggers and damages opponents and weakens their punches. If elbow block is broken, then this deals huge damage to the Hitman user and the Flicker jab is unusable for a period of time. Has a shorter cool down but a slow shield recharge rate.

Here is a list of a skill for each style (I tried my best to work on this with a friend): Basic: Low Uppercut. This move could be used between the user's m1 string and have block damage and damage. Long Guard: Push. This move will push an opponent back a set distance. Cannot push back someone holding shield. This move would do no damage but can be used when being hit in an m1 string. Smash: Shoulder Bash. This move will be a quick dash towards the opponent and do block damage and damage. If it misses, it can be used again 1 more time before being on cooldown. Counter: Counter. If this move is timed with when the user gets hit, the user ignores the damage from the attack and does a quick jab that does damage. It cannot be shielded. Trickster: Ult Charge. When activated, trickster's ult charge is doubled for a set amount of time **OR** instantly fills a set amount of ult. Cannot be used when doing an m1 chain, in an m1 chain, dodging, or shielding. Corkscrew: Head Turn. If this move is timed with when the user gets hit, the user ignores a set amount of damage from the attack. If the skill is used on an m2, it will not take away health that can be regenerated. The skill also increases the healing speed by a set amount for a set amount of time. Kimura: Critical Hit. The move applies a set amount of slow down stacks to an opponent when landed, doing damage. It has no shield damage. Can be used in an m1 chain. Ippo: Mini Dempsey. When activated, each dodge increases the damage of a single m2 from the user by a set amount. Hands Low: Speed Boost. The move boosts the attacks speed of the user for a set amount of time. Cannot be used when doing an m1 chain. Wolf: Pure Determination. When the move is activated, the user attacks with no end lag for a set amount of time. Cannot be used when in a m1 chain. Bullet: Taunt. When the move is activated, the user is stuck in a taunt for a set amount of time and the opponent cannot block or back dodge for a set amount of time. Only exception is Hawk who can still back dodge. Hitman: Elastic Jab. When activated, the user hits in front of him once at a longer range. It does both damage and block damage. When hit on a person without shield, it pulls them close enough to do an m1 chain. Slugger: Rage. When activated, the user **takes** a set amount damage more when hit, but also **does** a set amount of damage more for a set amount of time. Hawk: Stance Adapt. The skill changes the user’s stance slightly. When activated, it takes away the user’s counter damage but in turn gives the user a stronger shield. The change lasts until the end of the cooldown when the skill can be used again to swap the stance back to normal. Ghost: Ghost Jab. The previously removed ghost jab with a few differences. If hit on shield, the user is frozen for a set amount of time. If hit on an opponent, the opponent is frozen for a set amount of time. It can be used in the middle of the user's m1 string. Iron Fist: Feint Attack. When activated during the user's m2, it stops the user's attack. Afterwards, the user can use a much faster m2 once whenever. **NOTE:** Exact damage, shield damage, time for certain effects, and ect. are all adjustable on what would be better/worse. None of these are perfect, but just what I came up with.

I personally love the idea for saeki, but maybe cover half of your screen might mess up with the gameplay., This because your camera locks on your opponent keeping him in the middle of your screen, basically not being able to see half of your opponent no matter if you dash to the side. A better idea (my opinion) maybe he slowly blurs your screen, you're still able to see incoming punches highlights and tougher to determine distance from your opponent, this works with handslow since handslow is really good at mid range and would be able to create mixups with this.

I think it would be nice for counter's ult to be an actual counter that procs when you get hit. Ippo getting a gazzele punch if forward dash then m2. Bullet style getting a leg sweep or a foot step. Trickster being able to feint. Long guard being able to clinch. Hitman having a better indication for its range like the way its animated in the anime. Il keep editing this if i get more ideas

I sort of like the idea for Saeki, speaking as a hands low main. But imagine your opponent's pain fighting you with half of the screen black. Good think the effect will work on counters. Makes hands low users try to exploit their counter damage more.

I could see the ippo style being reworked like this: When within close (or puchable) range of the opponent, your left and right dash becomes charges for the Dempsey Roll. How this would work: By repeatedly pressing left/right dash at the right moment, it could work one of two ways. A: be able to have a bigger window for perfect dodges, but if you are hit then it cancels the roll. Or B: the more u dash (or land perfect dodges) ur ult charges more hits (starting at 5, progresses to 12 hits) I feel like either of these would be cool but what do you think about my idea? 🤔 Edit: forgot to add this, but as u charge up the Dempsey roll, you will be able to repeatedly hit opponents with your M2’s (would be the fastest M2 in game) Edit Edit: to sound more balanced, the M2 would start out slower, but progressively increase in speed

Kinda off topic but i really hope a rework for perfect dodging comes soon. Even after the game changes, passive playstyle is really the main way to get wins. I dont hate perfect dodging, i just hate how alot of players rely on it and only it, and that there really isn't much the opponent can do about it if they have the reaction time of a god

i think the Ghost Jab getting "Removed" was a pretty smart idea since they can balance Ghost, Expand the game PVP by adding skills and exploring more the styles by putting not only a "Passive" that is limited to M1,M2 or Dash but a totally new thing with Cooldowns,being another key to click besides the M1/M2 and a new working Method

Hitman could have a passive called Intimidation as everyone is mostly scared of Mashiba in the anime, intimidation can be a slight delay in jabs as the opponent is reluctant to throw due to fear.

my idea is that when all the styles could have an awakening where they get a damage buff, a defense boost, and a higher stamina buff called "alive eyes" which is shown in the anime and in the iron fist ultimate where they iris of the boxers get a green glow, but to activate you should be at 30% hp and you must sacrifice half of your ultimate bar

Actually there is a character in the manga who has exactly a style like this. It's Randy Boy Jr's Style, he's a switch hitter. So since the game has only HNI styles at the moment, probably at some point this style may appear (or not, dunno lol)

About the corkscrew style. I think the best way to implement the head turning is when a player try to dodge an attack by another player. But still got hit when trying to dodge. The m1 or m2 that is being landing would have it damage reduced. So if you perfect dodge the attack(well no damage.) But if you try to dodge and still got hit with a punch. The damage is reduced.

i would love a skill for trickster that would be simply the classic and normal frog punch, which has a cd and you can activate whenever you want by pressing a little funny button. It will work exactly how it does in the anime, you will get down and jump to attack the enemy, doing B I G damage and can also be used to dodge an attack. However, it takes a while before actually connecting and if the opponent punches him he will get extra counter damage and just waste his skill. Or you could also dodge it before it lands making the trickster go 1/3 across the ring.

Imo, Slugger’s Rage and Hawk’s Ecstasy should only be optionally activatable by using 60 or 70% of your Ult bar. As for old ghost, imo the very reason it was hated and nerfed was bc they were WAY too forgiving with the Delay when the M1 was blocked, so i recommend just reverting the Instant M1 and its Delay Mechanic and turn it ALL the way up, as well as activating the delay if your M1 gets dodged. The M2 should also get the same treatment, but the M2’s delay should be way shorter than its m1’s. That way, Ghost can become a MAX counter and read style and not a “Skill-Less Unpunishable style”.

Skill Idea for smash: Since smash doesn't really have a gimmick, they should add sendos dash in that he used against shigeta and ippo in the anime so he can dash in and attack, another idea I have is to make it so he gets angrier the more you hit him, adding strength to his m1 and m2 but making his attack flares pop up more because he gets more and more wild with the attacks losing his technique

I think sendos unconcious state would be better basically how i think this would work is that smash after getting all of his health drained he enters an unconcious state in which he only keeps attacking basically you cant block in this state only attack this will last about 10 seconds before getting downed you can activate it using a button if the button is activated then you'll enter the unconcious state if its not activated then it wont activate only have one use per match This is based off the first ippo vs sendo

Smash having curvy m2's, for example mid range, short range and long range. the curve would depend on how much rev up time the smash user got before landing the punch, (also reduced counter damage like iron fist's so smash can actually throw its heavies without worrying?)..,so the way smash would work is that the longer the rev up time the more deadlier and long ranged will the m2 get, so shorter rev up = low damage low range, medium rev up= basically current smash damage,and the high rev up= basically drags its fist all the way down like sendo did in the anime, delivering a long ranged and a devastating SMASH.

@@quandaledingle4127 slower and deadlier than slugger, sendo LITERALLY dragged his fist across the floor in one episode when he was fighting ippo,and ippo barely blocked and dodged it, show's how deadly that is with proper rev up,in addition with rematch of ippo vs sendo,sendo was also combining smash with footwork (probably they will do that for epic style) , but currently that's what my idea is,so that the longer the rev up more deadlier yet slower the punch goes, literally dragging the fist down the floor and performing a smash,could be an awesome gimmick for a uncommon (since they are starting to add them,or planning to)

a lot of the styles are already based off of real life boxers. Ippo's Peek-A-Boo is a near 1-1 replica of Mike Tyson's. Mashiba's Hitman Style was taken from Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns, and Hawk's style is based off of Prince Naseem's style.

Possible Idea for Basic Rework: Veteran Stats Basic when reaching 50% HP or below, receives a boost in both speed and damage, block remains the same. This may improve the gameplay of basic users to the point where they have a fighting chance against meta styles like Slugger or Ghost, probably even for Iron Fist. Any thoughts about this?

I don’t have a rework idea but I have a non canon idea of a style, shuffler style, his he was great momentum, good dashes, and nice damage on both m1 and m2, unique ability would be Twisting uppercut, he has a gauge that is a circle that starts to fill up when ever you take or block damage. When it’s filled up, you can use the Twisting Uppercut, which activates when you have filled gauge and the opponent makes a counter on your m2, the animation plays out as you dodge your opponent’s punch and follow it up with an uppercut, dealing significant damage. All of this is balanced off by his slightly weaker counter damage dealing and block, it would be a mythic or leg style.

They should add an variation of ultimates for Styles. Next, Wolf should have an *instinct ability*. It activates whenever it's health gets too low. Similar to slugger's ability JwordzYT talked about. The ability works like a buff and faster movements (*doesn’t make m2's faster*) but it does make the *cool-down faster.* The Boost is only temporary between 10 - 15 seconds.. Finally, they should make a ultimate variation when they encounter a specific style fighting together. ( it happens when *you both do the ultimate at the same time*).

This is a possible style that might get added one day, the Fisherman style. Your punch’s are focused at the lungs making it hard for the enemy to breathe and their stamina with drain with each blow and vision for them will become a bit blurry. Ultimate: True fisherman

Ghost style got it good. In real life, ghost jabs aren't what you see they are in the anime. Ghost jabs are basically just longer and perfect version of normal jabs. Seems slow, but always hits. It creates that illusion of being slow whilst being fast.

I think hitman should also get a skill since it deserves it for being the first legendary, I was thinking a bait uppercut, like when he pretends to block exposing the liver/side then throws a uppercut, like what mashiba did when he fought Juan Garcia, but it only works if you're block is below 20% or 10% by pressing m1, and it connects with your m1 as well, or even a side to side sway, but only works if you're at 30%, this inspiration was gotten when mashiba fought sawamura, he never even actually "dashes" from side to side, he sways, but it's it a perfect dodge it's only a m1 extender, overall I agree with your idea of hands low since I use it now,

A idea for slugger: when youre gonna use sluggers ult on low health the damage will increase in damage depending on your health if you land ult you become more powerful, you have fast jab in par with hands low, better dash, increased m2 damage to maybe 11 percent more and you have a ability called "might of determination" this allows you to do a jab which you dodge and you hit him a jab where you could make a whole combo. Reminder:the ability can only be used 4 times

Honestly, Bullet needs a slight rework because it's not matching to the actual purpose of that style. Only the Thunderbolt and fast jabs after dashing, but the dev forgot to add the fact that the jabs have a high dmg because its throwing Corkscrew jabs.

I think slugger rage skill should be able to activate an infinite number of times,and it charges by getting hit, getting countered and getting your punches dodged, once it's full your player model will appear to be on fire as to signal to your opponent, when in rage mode, you dish out prenerf damage and your ultimate instakills, but you cannot dodge attacks. Rage lasts 10 seconds

I know Ippo would be stronger, but according to how dempsey roll works, it should take more damage when getting countered while punching after they increased their damage multipler, at the same time ippo should take less stamina drain

Best way change for hawk is probably extra damage when perfect dodge And for hands low when opponent is 45% of health there the right opponent eye will be blind longer

They should add sawamuras Dempsey roll counter, or like in the anime, add ultimate countering. ultimate countering goes like this: ippo style uses his ultimate Ghost presses the ultimate button, and counters ippos ult like the sparring match in the anime. And the jabs slowly turn into his own ultimate.

As an idea for hands low, I was thinking something like a perfect dodge build-up where perfect dodges can let you earn stacks for an increase of effectiveness for your m2 and when ever you use an m2 it uses ur stacks or if u get countered u also loose your stacks since he did enjoy the thrill of being nearly hit in the anime too

i like to think an idea of trickster and counter has it own way to activate their ultimate trickster instead of punching it will look away it goes through block and it has like abit more range than usual styles but it will not work against a already attacking opponent counter ult is just a counter simple but will do alot of damage and i want something for iron fist too called courage its like a block bar or somewhat but when attacking for example when an iron fist use m2 and gets countered it will get less damaged has 4 uses the less bar it has the more damage he will take

I have an idea for hitman and slugger for hitman do you guys remember when mashiba stretched out his arm to hit ippo that but a one time punch that does a lot of damage and block breaks for slugger this more of a mode technically and could be it’s own style but still it is shown that takumura is very evasive so maybe there’s like a move where he losses all his op damage to have ok damage but have really good dashes and little stamina drain I think this could be a skill that can be used once a match when you are not hit so your being evasive that can perfect dash easy with ok damage but when you get hit you become normal slugger I understand rage is already gonna be a skill probably but maybe there can be multiple skills so I think it would be good plus make slugger more accurate to how takamura fights so effectively hitman gets a long punch and slugger gets a mode when your full health once per match that makes u really evasive but has ok damage and you can’t do the hold m2 I also think training should be added so you could train for a specific skill that would also make it balanced thank you anyone who reads this

You know what would be a nightmare? Giving the nightmare a skill. Hitman gets an active skill “Slicing jabs” : during the Kimura VS Mashiba fight, even though Kimura blocked all of Mashiba’s flicker jabs, it still left a cut on his guard hand. This makes the opponent’s block gradually weaker the more times the hitman user hits their block. It will be used at the start of a chain of jabs if activated, the ability will end once the hitman user stops pressing m1 (M1 chain ends/M2/dashing/ult)

for Ippo's dempsey roll it could go something like: 1.-if you stay in place and dash (like hawk style) you start doing the dempsey roll(you have to hit dash at the right moment too to keep momentum), starts a little slow but gets faster overtime 2.- at a point of charging the momentum your eyes glow green and that means you can m2 quicker in the roll's motion 3.- if you get hit during the roll you lose momentum and get counter damage 4.- if you perfect dodge (continuing the roll exactly when you are going to get hit) you automatically do a m2 that stuns the enemy, if you have enough momentum, Dempsey Roll beatdown

The eyes glowing green wouldnt make sense cause that only happens if you're extremely backed in a corner or giving everything you have left miyatas eyes glowed green when he was getting annihialated by mashiba kamogawas eyes glowed green because he was able to survive a powerful counter the glowinng eyes only happens when you are getting backed into a corner or your giving it all you've got

What if-- and just hear me out-- what if Smash was able to preform a dash to close distance while throwing an m2? Just like in the anime where he fought that southpaw guy, he was throwing a punch from a distance, but then he quickly launched himself forward and hit the opponent. Like, let them throw an m2 and dash immediately and it'll be thrown after the dash, but it does a bit less damage than an m2 and leaves you stunned if it's blocked or doesn't connect.

As a smash main i really think it’s cool but imo it should be only block able it shouldn’t work on dodges, well you might think it’s dumb but the move is not gonna be very very very fast i think it’s gonna be similar to smash’s m2 maybe slightly faster that’s all so it’s another easy perfect dodge for opponent, that’s why i think it shouldn’t be dodge able.

Skill for Trickster: you dodge a punch by ducking and then jump up, punching the opponent’s chin upwards, doing a frog punch. This can be used by doing forward dash and then using the skill. I think it should be instant. It would definitely make trickster more favoured and give the love it deserves, plus it will be more fun to play with.

RBJ having a switch-hitting mechanic would be hard to implement. Not because of constraints but because of how punches work in UBG, since most styles don't have a single concrete startup for M1's or M2's like say, Ghost's punches or Smash's M2.

I don't like the idea of "Skills" because it sounds like rpg games and I like this game kinda realistic. Eiji Date does not have a cooldown to use his head turn, same for Ippo and anyone else. Some of your ideas like Hands Low are cool. What I really want now is a rework of smash ultimate animation, I really wish for an Ultimate where we see Smash user doing a Smash like Sendo, near the ground and all

I think a good idea is to add levels for the styles so that way when u level up the style from using it u can unlock the skills and gimmicks that the style has and it will auto save the level u were at with that style if u were to roll a new style so that way u won't instantly get the skill or gimmick the style comes with

Ngl tho I kinda want them to add something like "Courage" "Bloodlust" "Determination" "Confidents" "Rage" for their respective styles and the way to activate it is maybe it uses up the Ult bar by maybe 50% or lower to go into a state that buffs or adds something to the style for example Ippo would have Courage when activated it would last either a set time or until knockdown and during that state they slowly sink into the abyss of loss and suddenly remember all the progress they made their eyes begin to glow a Courageous green realizing it's not over yet making them more daring and decrease damage taken by 5-10% increase block durability by 5-10% and less stamina used when dashing or weaving And for another example let's say for hawk it would be Bloodlust while active their Lust for blood would increase and your eyes begin to glow a violent red increasing punch speed 5-10% and counter damage 3-10% increase dash distance and block break by a bit For the last example would be Saeki/handslow and it would be Confidents during this state your eyes would become to glow a Confident light blue and your Heart begins to beat faster and your footwork becomes refine making you faster and increasing your thinking speed and Decreasing the dash cooldown making you harder to hit while increasing punch speed and movement speed making you one step ahead of them by 5-15%

Skill idea for Hitman: Launching a flicker jab my require skill because in the original game, there are multiple controls where the character can attack the opponent and some characters have a special way on how they attack. For Mashiba, he has a control where he can do a flicker jab to attack opponents further, but stuns the opponent very shortly, a couple where he does normal punches to stun the enemy and the other control is his heavy to do a chopping right. However, he needs a rework that the flicker jab control needs a skill to use and his heavy attack should do slightly more damage, but not as much as Corkscrew's m2.

it would be cool if they added the froggy punch to trickster. for example it could work by crouching down while holding E and when you let go you spring up and hit them with the punch. the move could do high damage because trickster is pretty weak, and to balance it maby they can make it easier to dodge or you take alot of counter damage while using it.

I would actually love it if they add like a parry if you block perfectly it will count as a parry and you can be able to hit your opponent a few times just like a perfect dodge and then long guard can have more parry frames since it mostly got rid of ippos punches in the anime when he ever tried to punch him he would brush the punch off to the side and punch Ippo with a jab this would a cool concept

I totally think that smash should have a skill/ability, yk how in his first fight with ippo he gets ko’d by a counter hook but keeps fighting unconscious, how about after he gets knocked down you can trade ur ult for a extra timed life, no longer then a minute, as a last stand kinda thing.

For the hitman style , it would be nice to get an elbow block , which could affect the hands of your opponent and make them do less damage. But with that , you too get slowed down until you can't jab anymore but your HP will be hard to get through and your dashes will be faster (just like in the anime) Skill to activate: once per 3 turns , you get to activate the redemption mode , which you can use your left arm for jabs, and have additional damage for a period of time , then after it you can't jab anymore and go back to the old set. (Just like in the anime)
