That is BEAUTIFUL! A lot of attention to detail. I’m completely blown away by it. And what an epic disappointment. If the technology exists to correctly build this prop with screen accurate effects, then it strikes me as beyond unacceptable that the very owners of the Star Wars Franchise that they don’t have the perfect accuracy.

The prop from the movie is not black. It looks darker because the lighting and color grading, with it intended to look like it sunset when Rey is on Tatooine. It being made from parts from her staff, if you look at her staff throughout the films in all lighting situations, you can see it’s a gunmetal gray color, not jet black

Thanks for your review! This saber looks much more cooler than Leia's one released one week ago. Unfortunately Disney is failing with the colours of the hilts...Leia's was too orange and that plastic aspect. Now this one that is too clear compared to the one seeing in the movie.

I think this hilt looks great. The rusted look suits this hilt better then dark metal

I picked one up Monday, Idk if they sold out in 2 hours tho, found out about them at 12:30 pm and bought one at 8 pm. I know Leia did temporarily sell out. This is a cool saber though and really glad they made one. Unless they sold out then did a quick restock but yea.

I call her Rey Palpatine because she has no actual connections to the Skywalkers and it wasn't earned. The lightsaber itself is really cool, but I would rather just get Anakin's lightsaber because that's one of my top two favorite lightsabers, the other being Luke's.

Looks...just ok. The fact the ignition is a tiny hidden switch in the wraps and not the rotating gear at the emitter like it's supposed to be is a huge pitfall for this tbh. And the paint/ finish makes it look incredibly plastic. Looks like a toy you could pick up at Target lol.

I don’t understand how this is one of the coolest legacy lightsabers made. if you ask me it’s the most inaccurate movie prop u can buy other then the fat af thin necks they sell. if it was an actual movie accurate prop it would be black not gray and the blade would be freaking yellow not green-ish yellow. worst Legacy saber yet. Disney owns the rights to Star Wars you would think they would make a proper screen accurately lightsaber but no. your best bet to third-party saber company at least they can make it look legit!!

well first of all, i think it was just the lighting of that scene that made it look darker, parts of the saber were from her staff and the staff was never that dark. second, it's much cheaper than the 3rd party sabers that are 100% accurate, and lastly penn mentioned in an earlier comment that it isn't as green as it looks on camera. (which was a relief to hear)

That lightsaber is as much a joke as calling her Rey Skywalker. It looks like a plastic toy compared to other lightsabers. It makes Leia's kool aid orange saber look good.
