It's a really good remodel, but there's 1 thing from the original I wish they kept and that was the count down. There was that additional thrill factor when it went "Life support systems will terminate in 15..." and when it got to 0 the drop. It always makes you tense up as it counts down. I think it would be pretty easy to just throw some random dialog like "Emergency chute activated in" or something to add to the trill before the drop.

These new Indominous Rex animatronics are absolutely amazing!! The one at the end of the ride is without a doubt one of the most impressive animatronics I’ve ever seen! The movement is so fluid and lifelike! When they first redid the Jurassic Park ride into a Jurassic World themed one, this is what I was expecting. Instead, at the time, we got this majorly static Indominous Rex that just moved it’s head, which was extremely underwhelming to me given it’s reputation. I was pretty disappointed with Universal then, but this? This is the Indominous Rex I was hoping for! This new one creates exactly the kind of epic climax for the ride I had hoped for. :)

I find it funny we now have 2 floating dinosaurs... if you look at the indominous Rex's legs, they don't move, so he's gliding on the floor and the t rex like always, Flys towards you.

The animations for the Indominous Rex, especially at the end looks incredible! One thing I have to say, once they enter the 'T-Rex Kingdom,' they need to lower the lights, then only have a bit of light whenever a dinosaur pops up. Just to make it more frightening. Above all, great improvement on the animations!

this video was taken with a low light camera. when you're actually on it the lights are much darker and you can't see things like the T-rex waiting to activate, its feet floating or the plain ceiling and walls

Nice subtle addition of the gyrosphere. I saw other videos taken from outside the berms while it was closed with speculation that it would be added. Would have loved to see it maybe going over the edge/falling from above for a nod to the old Jeep over the edge from JP though! That new ending is insanely impressive

So I just watched a video of the 1997 Jurassic park ride and there is just not even a comparison on how much better it was. It was an actual thrill ride dark creepy suspenseful the animatronics had life. This is like a watered down park ride.

We got this as a nice, unexpected surprise when we went during Horror Nights in 2022; we were completely unaware of the update, so when we passed the I-Rex head and moved into the next area, we were confused and kind of let down (thinking they removed the big drop) only to have these massive lifelike animatronics come walking out that we were completely in awe of before the original drop. We actually thought it was an alternate track that only ran during Horror Nights before looking it up and finding out the ride was updated.

So much better! The only things that could improve it (that wouldn't be major) would be to get rid of the blue light, and lower the lighting in general when the Indo pops up, cause right now you can see it's just the head. Maybe have blue face the other way so it looks like she's focusing on the Indo. And finally, add the water fall back to Rexy's part and make sure she stays out long enough instead of retreating, cause seeing her floating kinda breaks the immersion.

The animatronics are GREAT. The problem I have is the countdown to the drop, you use to just see ONE T-Rex right in front of you so it completely distracts you by itself. If there's two of them side by side than it completely defeats the purpose of the surprise drop. Also the beginning of the ride was amazing, but the middle when everything is going to hell it feel... EMPTY. One last thing is, they gotta turn off that extremely bright light right before the drop cause you can literally see everything and it makes you lose the illusion of you being dark and in danger especially when you can see the main T-Rex's feet before the drop like he's hovering.
