Nice video. I love mine. On a 3S Battery it feels a lot faster than 45mph honestly. Mine is crazy fast. Very durable. One wheel came off due to a loose nut. I also popped out the front shock area but it snapped right back into place. Great car

It might be faster than 45mph. I had limited space, and the offroad tires aren't the best for speed runs. This rig is Awesome.

D12 has made four major improvements on the basis of the previous version: 1. ESC system upgrade, linear reinforcement, explosive force enhancement protection device, and new mos durability improvement. 2. Shock mount height and shock stroke extension. 3. Swing arm and pull rod strengthening and thickening. 4. All vehicle screws are made of 435 alloy steel, with a hardness level of 12.9

Good question. I'm not sure? I have high-end remotes. So if I switch I usually switch to them.and not an RTR remote. I will look into it for you tho.

All of the upgrades are from either the Amazon RLAARLO or RLAARLO direct website. I would definitely go with the Amazon RLAARLO upgrades. They all work on the AM D12.

If you want to bash only probably the hosim. If you want the speed and thrash also, definitely the AM-D12.

Seems like the AM D12 has better reviews regarding longevity, albeit slower than the Hosim. I think I'd rather go for the more solid D12. Thanks!

Can you recommend a wheel spacer kit? I think it’s also known as a hex wheel extension kit? These axles do not have axle pins and the kits online are incompatible with this car.

@thomaseckard1292 Possibly. When you start stretching the wheel base you might not be able to use the factory nuts. Those thread on to the end of the axle threw the wheels.

MJX is awesome, too. I would probably go with the AM-D12. You have better electronics, more adjustability, Amazon available parts, and upgrades.

37mph is pretty fast on on 2s, just a bit surpised it only done managed another 6mph on 3s.

My same thought. I think if I had a longer spot, it would probably go even faster. It was hard to keep it straight with all that power.

Where does it say AM-D12 ? it says that on web page, But manual and car id on base plate say model no. XDKJ-031 Metal wheels ? The 3 I got had plastic wheels :( It is fast as hell and easy to flip side ways , yeah I need more practice.

I noticed that as well. I'm not sure why they don't call it that on the box. Mine has aluminum wheels. It is an awesome rig.

how can you tell they are aluminum? mine are plated plastic i am sure , I bought all 3 colors actually two purple ones they all had plastic wheels 1 of the purple ones would not run at all I sent it back. the yellow one glitched and turned left by its self into curb bent frame and broke parts with in first 1-2 minute of running it ;( the 2 I have left run great but as said plastic wheels . the black ones looked good the purple real cheap looking ...

Yes. I heard the way I said that during editing. It came off the wrong way. So, to be clear, yes, all 4 are the same. The suspension is really nice.
