My friend you are not alone, I also rebelled and I haven't had this much fun since I started playing. I remember how good this game was in the first couple of months, the battles between alliances, the wars, now it's a dictatorship and constant abuse. A game that has taken a very bad turn. In this game the only wise thing you can do is build a good base, a strong defense and lots of troops. Piggy hold on, we are more and more and more and more angry haha. There is other ways to win MGEs more structurally. Especially during KVK. During kvk MGE usually are not fixed if wars overlap. So u check the timeline of pass openings and MGE and pick one where you get the commander u want and u can push. During the barb stage u use all AP on barbs and with the same AP u used now, u would have gotten 25M plus points already. On top of that would you have used half those RSS and speedups to fight opponents DURING a kvk war, you would have gotten top ranks also. And you could still push some extra points close to end of event if that makes the diffrence between a first or second place for example. U might think: yes but this is more work. Why would I do that? Well your leadership tracks killpoints and deaths during kvk (DKP). And they will see the sacrifices you made + efforts u made contributing to war. Next time they fix a MGE… u can probably get a good ranking also. So u get MGE ranks during kvk and in off season. And you are perceived by your kingdom as a fighter who contributed (Those are rewarded normally through all kinds of ways), instead of a rogue dead weight player you are now. Who will be zeroed as soon as a chance is found. MGE feels like a big thing to newer players like you. But in the bigger scheme of things it does NOT move the needle that much for you. Because all the really good open field commanders are wheel and not MGE. Winning kvks, and having a profound role in that is much more fulfilling and rewarding.
