Fun! Fun! Fun! I liked this camper. You are a delightful host. I put this one on "The List". The bathroom has a magnet - that's good. I like the front kitchen I like the breakfast bar and at first I was happy to see it but then they took out the dining room table. Frowny face. Don't laugh but I looked at that storage space behind the refrigerator and wondered how hard it would be to have some pully device attached to the ceiling so you could hang mesh sacks that could be filled and then pulled up and out of the way. A stash spot.

The area with the inverter is crying for some Li batteries. They should step up to a 2000 watt inverter especially with that sweet 12V fridge.What a perfect location for a killer solar power system. Really like that they're using torsion axles on a larger trailer like this. The double bathroom sink should be a single right in the middle. That way hubby can have his stuff on one side and the wife can have her necessities on the other. Really like the mild tones used in the interior. The front kitchen is a knock-out! The shower stall is awesome. Another great video Uncle Josh!

Wow wow wow Josh this model is fantastic! This might be it for us! My wanted tweaks are as follows- let Rockwood know will ya? ;) 1- overhead storage over the recliner (so a smaller window) 2- add left coat closet in bed room (smaller window) (his and hers cabinets ) 3- single sink in bath (more countertop and bigger sink if you like) 4- under bath sink cabinets that don't exist right now- cabinets with depth for storage instead of outside fridge) or at least one functioning under counter cabinet door. Or a floor to ceiling cabinet on the right side. 5- 80 gal water tank (why stop at 60?) 6- taller door for outside storage behind fridge 7- water meiser for the rear bath sink and kitchen sink (new invention?) 8- kitchen floor heat duct moved off of primary traffic path. Yeah there’s an inverter switch inside Holding tank capacity may be limited by physical space in the belly. Shorter model + dual thru-frame slides = not a lot of room to work down there Neat ideas though. I got word we are getting an updated 2022 of these soon. I am not expecting much to change but we’ll see!!

@@wheresbrent Yeah there's an option to swap to an 8cu ft gas/elec The solar/inverter bundle is always an option. it's simply FORCED on the 12v fridges So yes, you can order 2-way fridge + Solar/inverter and have a boondock monster

Okay one more question ( for now) :) The Rockwood Ultra LIght 2608BS is very similar in layout and dimensions other than the 2608BS has a lower ceiling height. Yet the 2608Bs and 8263MBR have a 1000lb weight difference. They have same R value ratings for floor, ceiling, and walls according to the manufacturers website, leading me to believe the wall and floor thicknesses are the same between both models. Do you know what in the 8263MBR attributes to a 1000lb heavier unloaded weight? If dimensions were anymore different i'd attribute that as the cause, but these models are so similar I cant tell where the extra weight comes from. Is the ceiling height soley responsible for 1000 lb's of extra heft? what else am I missing? P.S. - Thank you so much for your time and replies!

2 things are a must access at all times, the refrigerator and bathroom. Not accessing the bathroom during travel is a deal breaker for me. I suggest adding a toilet somewhere in the middle that is accessible during travel will an awesome trailer

I'd personally rather have more storage space under the sinks than an outside kitchen of any kind. The metal sink basins remind me of public rest stop sinks... I would prefer a single sink basin with massive amounts of counter space, and have a single (maybe extra wide) medicine cabinet door with the mirror. That way it feels big, spacious, plenty of mirror space, storage, and countertop.

The juice IS worth the squeeze on this. Not a fan of white on white, still shows some wood grain, this is not all white so looks good. The kitchen wall covering is nice. Camp answer to bacon and fish is cook it outside if at all possible. Towing without a TPMS now days is as bad as when I use old tires on my flatbed trailer to save a few bucks. She sure is nice this will sell well, hope the quality is as nice as the looks. Jerry Maren would approve of the munchkin sound a like.

Very nice RV just shorten up the island tv cabinet for more shoulder and head room, one bigger left hand sink in the bathroom not two, and maybe a top and bottom door behind the fridge with a shelf half way up to double the storage space. 15000 btu A.C. standard on this model, otherwise its perfect.

Kitchen: The high counter dining bar with stools option vs. table/chairs or booth should be offered in more plans. Love it. Wrap-around backsplash in kitchen gives a finished look. Left corner of counter needs a pop-up outlet so cords don't have to dangle down below counter to reach outlet. Larger fridge option is great. Good storage. The lighter color package with stone fabric is very appealing. Are there any dimmer switches in kitchen/main living space? Wife wants ambiance! Master Suite: Wife loves those blue lights above bed as well as headboard accent light, bedside shelves, all the drawer space, and king bed option. Great bathroom. Is there a blue light (night light) in shower or any other low light in bathroom for nighttime? Wish there was a towel bar or one of those retractable lines like you see in some hotel showers so there's a place to dry a few things. Good medicine cabinet space, but a divider or two is needed to keep stuff from moving/falling over when coach is towed. Outside: Can a grill be substituted for the griddle? Seems that would be more useful for cookouts than a griddle. Will mini-fridge stay in place during towing? Great job, Josh. Love your presentations and really appreciate your very informative and honest reviews. We're down here in AZ. Want so badly to go view this floorplan but nobody seems to have it!

Greetings Josh, A few things this ROCKWOOD needs to blow away it's compition, plus endear me to buy it: 1. A much improved insulation package, 2. A combination washer dryer hung on bath rear wall where window now is, like Kidron, the Auzi RV maker does down under. Rear wall would need to be reinforced and shower faucet moved to back wall. 3. Rear frame enforced to carry factory enatalled storage chest with 800# capacity as trailer has to little outside storage. 4. 380 Watts Solar with front frame capable for a 4 Battery Bank - full time RV 👍

Can you touch on by passing water heaters for winterizing in the future. The out side storage behind refrigerator would be nice to have an oblong door so you can have some heavy duty shelving. Also bigger outside door on out side bed storage so you can slide average size storage totes inside. Love watching your videos. Some others try but can’t compete. Which causes me to wonder what kind of dealer they are over all. Keep up the good work.

Why no integrated A-frame on models like this? The lighter interior colors are *way* better imho. I also wouldn't mind an rv with zero TVs. Not out there to stay inside watching shows, and if I was I'd bring my own small smart TV I could put anywhere or use as a monitor for remote work.

I asked Jaycos engineers about their integrated a-frames. They explained to me it didn’t provide a stronger foundation, but just allowed them to lower the floor a bit while potentially introducing a few potential hitching challenges (but usually nothing major) So.. I guess I dunno lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One sink in the bathroom would be fine, seems too small a bathroom for 2 sinks really. Could RW put a folding end on the kitchen counter, so one person could sit on the end? Looks like you could sit on the end now, but the wall holding up the table might be in your way. With one person on the end. both could watch TV.

Love this trailer; so many convenient-useable features! Few things not so great: 1. vent in kitchen floor just in front of range/oven. Trips & collects dirt/hair.. 2. Heavy weight requires a major truck upgrade. 3. Why tease with such a tiny amount of solar? Needs a better set up with larger inverter included standard. 4. Not a fan of the tv "box". 5. Like outdoor cooking areas, but what happened to having a sink? Even not cooking, I want to be able to WASH MY HANDS OFF, esp these days...
