This is the best explanation on these bowls from beginning and the wrapping and cutting straps at a slant. Thank you I dont need any other video.

I really enjoyed this video. I made a charger plate out of white braided cord & used 1" x 3" or 1" x 5"...to wrap. It turned out darling. I got thread at Harbor Freight. Today I got the teal poly cord at Dollar Tree $1.25 & the 40' cord at Walmart $2.19 & will tackle some bowls. These crafts truly have endless design potential. Fast & Fun too. I hope to catch your next vid. I love the show & tell on even the finished ones. All so cute! Thx...🥰

Hello love your video very informative. But one question how would I clean these, excited to make these. Thank you 😊
@RebsFabStash Жыл бұрын
Thank you! We hope you enjoy making your bowl! We recommend cleaning only if necessary, hand wash using cool water. You may use a smidgeon of dish soap but not too much as it's obnoxious to rinse it all out! Be sure to block the rope bowl before drying, so it retains its shape. Draping it over an upturned bowl works nicely! Happy sewing!

When you use the Diamond Braided rope from dollar store, what size needle do you use, please?
@rebrandal4042 Жыл бұрын
I use an 80/12 or 90/14. Machines are sometimes different and if you break one - just go heavier needle.

@rebrandal4042 Жыл бұрын
I use either an 80/12 or a 90/14. If you ever break a needle just use a heavier needle. Some machines can be a little finicky with the volume of fabric and rope.

@rebrandal4042 Жыл бұрын
I have a JUKI HZL F300. (Just under $600) I previously had the HZL-600 but found I did not need all the bells and whistles - it was about $1200. I love this JUKI and the NOSE is not as big as some machines so a nice bowl side can be formed. Reb
