I couldn’t agree more! When I was pregnant I hated people telling me their negative stories and I hated when they said “ enjoy the sleep now because you won’t when the baby is here “ and because I had twins they would make awful comments and when I see a pregnant woman I’m always very positive towards her and I always tell her to enjoy the pregnancy and to not worry and to enjoy birth! I had people tell me so many horrible birth stories I was terrified going into labour and guess what I had the most amazing experience ever! I would do it 100 times again so don’t listen to others! Your experience will be different than everybody else’s. But also Annie I know you are a very positive person but post partum is difficult and it’ll be hard but you know what else? It’s going to be the most beautiful time of your life! The tiredness will pass you will get use to it and it’ll all be good im sending you loads of love ❤️

Highly, highly recommend the book “Journey into Motherhood: Inspirational stories of natural birth”. It’s a beautiful book that can help reduce or remove fear and worries about the birth. It was by far my favorite read during pregnancy 😊

I had two natural water birth with my two boys and they were honestly such amazing, empowering experiences - I also did the Positive Birth Company course, that really helped! I'm pregnant with our third and hoping for a similar birth too. I had to laugh a bit when you mentioned how sleep is good for you as I'm getting none with two under 4 🤭How different my first pregnancy was, I took 3 naps a day on weekends whenever I could 😊 Best of luck with your little one, whatever will be, you'll have the best reward at the end by meeting your baby girl 💞

The thing about sharing the horror stories is such a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it can bring a sense of fear and anxiety to the currently pregnant woman and plant harmful seeds of doubt. But then on the other hand, I hear SOOOO many women who had horror stories happen to them that they WISH someone would have warned them about, instead of keeping very real risks in the dark. I don't think there's a way to please everyone on that front unfortunately.

I would recommend Emily Norris's channel. She taught me how to be a better parent! She has such a POSITIVE energy about life, kids, when she was pregnent, overall. When I found her channel I was done having kids already. But I feel like I should experience one more pregnency and birth just because I want to do it positive energy just like Emily's💕
