I was more than happy when I have heard that there will be another beasts series. I couldn't afford buying the gold coins of the QB series because we were building a house back then.

@@AustrianStacker that's probably my favourite too along with the Lion of England, but I don't think that they ever sold in Australia for retail value so I never had the chance of owning them at a reasonable price :(

True, especially with this high gold prices but I started saving money end of last year to be able to continue my collection. I wasn't able to buy the Queen's Beasts gold coins so I am working hard on getting all gold coins of this series.

Handsome beasts. Up until 5 minutes ago I thought I’d seen both the Queen’s and Tudor Beasts statues that the coins are based on for real…… only to discover the Queen’s set are replicas…. Beautiful coins (and statues 🙂).

I saw them in a museum in Canada. We were told that these are the original statues displayed at the coronation of QEII. 😬

To be honest. That was long before I started stacking and I wasn't really interested in heraldics back then. I didn't even take pictures. What can I say... I was young and stupid. I would have used this pictures in at least 300 videos. :)

Nice additions, and I like that you collect both Silver & Gold varieties. I am still a fan of the Queen's Beast series, although Tudor Beast is very nice too.

The Queen‘s Beasts series is kind of the original heraldic coin series. Unfortunately I didn’t habe enough money to buy the gold coins when the QB series started because we were building our house back then. Greetings from Norway 👋🇦🇹
