詳細全く不明。電話番号から察するに武蔵野エリア拠点であろうバンドの唯一の音源。
スリコ(300円ほど)だったので年代とジャケだけで勇気を出して買ったシングルだったが、いざ聴けばアッパーなビートのパンキッシュなネオサイケ・サウンドでビックリした。
テンポアップしたThe Policeとでも言えばどことなくイメージつくかもだが、特にA面"Black Heart"(00:00)は、スピーディーだがややレゲエ的アレンジ的なギター/ベース/ドラムの小技も挟みつつ、スティングを意識したかはわからない高音シャウト気味のVoで、これが何度も聴いてるとジワジワとハマってクセになる。
A面B面どちらも良いが、個人的にはより疾走感のあるネオサイケなB面"ドミノ倒しの街"(05:13)を大推薦。Buck-Tickなどと織り交ぜてDJでスピンする率が上がってます🔥
追記：知人からの情報で、90年にヤマハ＆ネッスル主催の「BAND EXPLOSION '90世界大会」でザ・ビートルズのカヴァー「Eleanor Rigby」で受賞、その後アニメのEDテーマも93年にやってるみたいで、水樹奈々や椎名へきるのプロデュースもしており、現在は府中でギター教室を開かれてるそうです・・・。

Totally Unknown but probably Tokyo Based Post Punk / Indie Rock / Punky Neo-Psychedelic band, New Roze's one and only material.
Both Side-A and Side-B are good but I highly recommend Side-B "Domino Taoshi No Machi" (means City of Domino Toppling).
For me it's like Speedy Uptempo version of The Police especially on the drum sounds and Guitar/Bass arranges sometimes shows very little influences from New Wave Reggae. I spin this song at my DJ often currently. Recommend.
PS: Friend told me the singer is running Guitar Lesson Class in Tokyo now and he produced some songs to Anime singer etc after 90's.(I'm not into it though)

Yes I love it too, It reminds me the beginning/early era of The Police's Sting (for example the song "Fall Out"). Actually The Police is not really my type of music but I like New Roze. Just dunno why haha.

Star Search had an International completions sometimes. New Roze came out decked in Sci- Fi costumes. They wore all black with houses and machinery parts on their clothes. They did a rock cover of Eleanore Rigby by the Beatles. It was AMAZING! One of best performances I ever saw! I still think about it to this day.
