Hey guys! Wow, that snow....how gorgeous! Driving in snow storms is so peaceful! We haven't had one here yet...kind of looking forward to having one! That bird was way cool. sure was feisty 😃 That hiking trail is stunning. And that blue water.... OMG!!!! Spectacular! My favorite kind of hikes. One definitely has to take advantage that kind if opportunity! Those downed trees....we had a wind storm like that here a few years ago...they call it straight line winds. That lake....now that was epic! Totally perfect day! Haha, I am a slow learner too...lots of people walk here with spikes... I have lived here my whole life and I still don't have any. Wow, that buck! Now that was very special. Free winter camping in a national park..so cool. win, win, win! 😁❄💖

Nice video. That said I watched it twice and somehow missing the NEW Filming rules. Could you please explain???
@oneadVANtureatatime3 жыл бұрын
+Chris Schiel I probably should have worded that a little differently but the scoop is a law that prohibited filming (intended for filming crews but vague in wording) in National parks ( without permits) was overturned due to free speech violation. While the intention of this law was honorable, it was written before IPhones and KZbin. So, technically anyone filming( anything other than still photographing) in a national park without a permit could be fined. Now this really wasn’t a problem or enforced until last year when a KZbinr was fined $1500.00. Now we are free to film with our phones and GoPros and not worry about getting fined. We shared this video after the ruling. Drones are still and will forever be off limits.... and we agree!

What chains did you decide to buy? Where they any good?
@oneadVANtureatatime3 жыл бұрын
We went to Les Swab and got real chains! I did have to cut 3 links off of them but they have been working amazing! These will not be breaking😃😃

Was it hard to navigate the Avalanche trail? Or were signs posted? Just out of curiosity…
@oneadVANtureatatime Жыл бұрын
Super easy to navigate this trail. There was a steady stream of people packing the snow down. 👍😀

Chains, while effective are a huge PITA. Get a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks and never worry about snow again. I'm not affiliated with them just a complete believer in the product.

I will check those out, Ty for the tip! 😎

@@oneadVANtureatatime General Grabber Arctics are also excellent. For what you are doing a dedicated set of winter tires is worth every penny. It will take some logistics to store your regular set. Don't bother with studs. Too much noise for long drives

Your video was spectacular 👀we enjoyed every second of your winter wonderland ❤️thank you so much we are your new followers ❤️? Do they have a place to dump your sewer ? Can you get clean water for the RV thank you🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

Hi Bernie. We are almost sure the dump station and water were closed off for the year. We are thinking that's why they are not charging people to camp. Thank you so much for subscribing to our channel. We are having the time of our lives exploring and love sharing with you. We hope to see you on the road someday.😀

nice, the park is not closed at this time for private cars? i think Yellowstone is closed.
@oneadVANtureatatime3 жыл бұрын
It was open but only for 16 miles of the Road To The Sun. People were camping in their cars at the campground. ❄️☃️🥶🥶

Beautiful, Thank you! I have to say something with respect and kindness. Maybe think about not getting that close to wildlife. It’s their home. Could be why we weren’t allowed to film before. It frightens them, as it would me. Again, just something to think about. Have a great day!

Nice tip! Usually we do not get this close. Normally deer will stay clear of us and I thought this one would also. This buck passed a half dozen people and never budged a foot. The park ranger later told us the deer have no enemies in the park and don’t fear people.

We took our granddaughter when she was four years old to glacier what a magical time for you guys to be there like you hit the lottery on that day the interesting part of the west side of glacier is it like a rainforest kind of reminds me of Alaska along the coast the trail of the Cedars especially and then you had to the east side And it’s dryer and more like the Rocky Mountains here in Colorado I think it was one of our favorite trips ever my granddaughter still remembers it

Awesome! We look forward to returning to see that east side of Glacier National Park . We talked to people there that love it so much they go every year.
