Not sure if you know this trick or not, but if you soak the cans in hot water for about 10-15 mins, it helps the paint flow out the can better

I wrap my cans with an electric heating pad. Keeps the temperature consistent. I used to use hot water but stopping to boil water slows me down to finish my project.

Best trick is to have a little crock pot on low setting with water and put spray cans in there👌🏼👌🏼

For anyone who wants to do this but doesnt feel comfortable doing it. Go to a junkyaard, get a front fender, ding it up, bondo it sand, paint it and learn yourself and leave it outside for a few months to see what you can do. Best way I learned ..

Please take this as friendly criticism, rattle can jobs will look half decent for a few months. Its longevity that's the problem. Weather and the sun will break them down without a good clearcoat.

Depends what you use and how it’s taken care of. I have had them last years with proper cleaning and waxing without a clear coat. The rustoleum is on another level when it comes to longevity. I have done updates months later on this channel year ago. Clear is recommended but we have plans to do that on this car. Mine has 2K clear and it’s been holding up great

I have a mini truck that I sprayed in rustoleum ivory bisque. No clear. It's 5 years now in utah.. almost a daily driver.. I hand polished it with plastic polish last fall, and it looks like the day I painted it. The last car show I went to, 3 people asked what paint it was and were shocked to know it was rattle canned in my garage.
