As usual, solid advice. I have to note that your #1 through #5 should actually be #4 through #8. Why? I'm so glad you asked! #1: INSURE your new rig before you even drive or tow it home. #2: Camp in your driveway for a few nights so you get used to the systems, will KNOW what you need to buy, and have a fair chance to discover defects BEFORE you're camping 1,977.883 miles away from the dealer. #3: Order a National Parks annual pass and one for your state parks. #4-#8: Everything you said.

Even changing from Airstream trailer to the FX was a change and relook at what we really need and how the vehicle changes our needs. Really getting to realize the big differences. I do miss my 27 foot Flying Cloud Queen though lol. Thank you for great information.

5 questions: 1- how do you protect lv from theft or break ins and while you sleep inside 2- how do you find time to travel do all your KZbin editing and run your businesses 3- where do you get oil changes at 4- which leisure van is best for taller people 6-2 5- can you park your leisure van on streets and stay the night inside your coach if you’re not in a rv park
@Pagosa2 жыл бұрын
You just lock the doors and hope for the best! I have a great Management team that does most of the day to day in the biz and gives us time to do RV life. Making videos is just my way of not getting bored. MB dealership does the oil change. The Unity is best for tall folks. I'm 6'2" as well. Depends on the street and if it's legal

@@Pagosa I'm an old 1970's rv'er just a suggestion they weren't around or the small sizes at the time. I suggest that for your first trip make a stop at a "dollar tree" type store and pick up your mayo, mustard, steak sauce breakfast cereal, along with towels dishes cookware and the like.

SNAP PAD... If you have the leveler, order and install the snap pads. They increase the surface area, they bring more stability to the RV, they grip solidly to the metal pads, they keep the metal pads from rusting, they eliminate the need to carry wood squares to protect the pavement in RV parks and your driveway. No, I don't work for them. Just a good producf.

Hey Branden, now then, we fly from Oregon to South Dakota to get our LTV soon. I’ve been following your videos for some time. They are fabulous. The dealer won’t know what hit them when I start asking questions. We’ve ordered your essentials for the trip. I had a few questions for you if you don’t mind. I noticed you don’t have a ladder on your coach. Any thoughts? Also, we have the option of going to coastal towns. What are your thoughts on camping near salt air? Great job on the videos we don’t watch TV any more.
@Pagosa2 жыл бұрын
Congrats Tom! So glad the videos have helped. I do regret not getting the ladder at times (especially when I locked myself out of the coach and needed to crawl through skylight.) I don't do coastal too much, but I would wash the LTV often, especially if you have the steel wheels and not the aluminum. Never hurts to get that salt off when you can. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Our UTB is currently in production with hopeful delivery this June I asked our dealer about the softstart and he said the LTV already has softstarts installed. Is the softstart install mentioned in your video and on the LTV FB pages a better option. Thanks
@Pagosa2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I’m not sure why some dealers are saying this, but there is no soft start installed from the factory. It’s an aftermarket device. I confirmed with LTV after I had a few people saying the dealers were telling them this. Curious if it’s all the same dealer and they just don’t know what they are talking about. I’ve found that many sales people are really ignorant about their products they sell. Anyway, highly recommend the one we have, pagosasupply.co/softstart

Let's just talk about MERCEDES they were cars that we bought because of the Looks, Sustainable, Features, and Option now Mercedes is sending us crap and don't care it a sale and we are still buying them. The speaker are just 1 thing, The tire, And the swing when turn in uneven lot's. Which are all quick fixes that they know about and should correct and haven't but went up in PRICE. You really have to be careful check everything out right away like he say in his presentation
