My Shock Therapy tie rods have a TON of play in them as well before torquing the jam nuts. I was worried too, but I hit lots of hard trails and they're fine.

Okay that’s actually a huge relief. I have been really worried about it especially with being on a race track. I’m just going to pay close attention to it but that’s good that other tie rods are similar!

You should see it right now with the bumpers and nerf bars! There is still a lot of work to do but it’s at a point where I can race it this weekend and get some time on it before the big races start.

I swapped my steering rack out for the rack boss when I spooled my diff, added the 600w steering kit, and Hess double shear knuckles. Also, throw the l&w tie rod links in the trash and get performance sxs or shock therapy links. My l&w tie rods were like 3” shorter than my performancesxs and ST links.

Or measure what you need and get custom length tie rods made with clevis style inners if you want the strongest possible.

Did you have long travel in yours? That’s what I’m worried about is not many companies making the long travel rods for the pro xp. I have had several people say performancesxs but I didn’t see a long travel pro xp option
