Sage Mode Naruto still has to be the best design that Naruto has received in the anime. Once he got added in Storm 2 he was an immediate fan favorite for most of the playerbase, but soon after he fell off the charts and more stronger characters started appearing in the later Storm games. In Storm Connections he has been updated like all of the characters in the roster and he received a well deserved update. The fact that you can combo off of his grab now is a very pleasant update to this character and his rasengan having more priority (like all the rasengans) makes it a viable move to use now. He is a very interesting character to say the least and might be the right pick around a solid defensive team.
The next exciting entry in the STORM series, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Naruto's anime debut, releases 2023!
The game features new playable characters in addition to the 124 ninjas from past series! Plus, it connects key moments from the first four STORM entries into one game for the first time.

🤣🤣 I know it seems like I was spamming Rasengan, but I really didn't. In that match I only hit 4 'Jutsu' Rasengans and all the other rasengans are just part of Sage Naruto's circle combos🤣😭. That's why he yells it every second. I really don't try to use the Rasengan as my neutral option like how my opponent did. 🫣

The lack of combos in that first match made me incredibly uncomfortable lol. Hopefully the whole armored jutsu thing can be fixed bc I've lost to the spam since you can't really fight it unless you have a decent armored jutsu that you yourself can spam lol

@Squydward You are spitting. I don't know why but most of the people online are just relying on Rasengan/Chidori spam and the worst part of it all... it is working for tgen because of the armor😔. That's why I showcased it in the first match. That opponent literally got most of my health bar down only with rasengans and in lag it's almost unavoidable.

@@swag-hunterroronoazoro2398 Storm 2🤣😭. Yeah my opponent just didn't want to do any combos for some reason and just did rasengan most of the time. Hate that it's the meta to spam Rasengan/Chidori in this game, but unfortunately we will have to take it. I try to not use it like 'that' and only do it for a combo ender. Doesn't help that Sage Naruto literally screams 'Rasengan' every second because it is part of his combo and not even a jutsu🤣.

I really wish they could give these older characters new ultimates. Sage mode naruto is one of my favorite characters in the series but his ultimate jutsu is very lackluster unfortunately.

Yes you're right and I totally agree with you. It was an awesome UJ for Storm 2, but if you compare it to the newer ones it doesn't even come close😔. If all the characters had a new UJ more people would look at other characters and not only play with the new ones that they added in Connections. Atleast we got an update with the main mechanics that makes Sage Naruto more interesting now compared to the other Storm games. Atleast we got something🫣

@@xxKuroiSasuke Being able to cancel his rasengan, combo after his grab, introduction to his 2nd jutsu and him being a little bit faster than before (That might be because of the 60 fps so don't quote me on this)🤣. Those are pretty much all of the new changes to the character, which makes him different than all of his previous versions.

@@IcE-_-Kidd Exactly! Sometimes it seems that the community has more ideas than the developers themselves🤣. It was good for the time don't get me wrong, but it would've been refreshing to see that Massive Rasengan Barrage. This one is just outdated.😭

Awakening needs a revamp. The duration nerf actually defeats the purpose of it as a comeback mechanic. You can still get damaged a lot and your attack can be subbed, they should've added a feature where enemies hit by awakening attacks consume 2 substitution bars and chakra dash can break enemy block to pressure them into escaping.

Those would be nice and significant changes to the awakening system! The Storm/Awakening being shorter is just a pain and nowadays we don't even see team ultimates that often😭. All types of awakenings are suffering right now, because of it. To be honest I would implement these changes to all of the weaker awakenings (tailed beasts, some susano'os) to keep it balanced and only have the shorter time for very strong ones (Danzo, SO6P Madara). It really needs a rework asap and hopefully they will do so in the next patch🙏

How you can even play on this red ping? On this video looks like you have a blue ping, not red.

Believe me when I say most red pings are almost impossible to play against😭, but then there are some that play way better than some blue bars (like in this vid). The connection system in Connections is a weird one not gonna lie and it is unpredictable at best🤣.

@BlackSageHD Yeah, I know it. Even blue ping has red ping issues. Online on PC is dead. A few days ago, I waited for a player one hour.

@@sysano4199 Yeah I heard about the issues on pc😔. It really is unfortunate, but it's CC2's fault. They have literally cut down the longevity of the game in the first month😭

his first jutsu rasengan barrage with the 2 rasengans does like 40% hp its one of the strongest jutsus i swear to GOD. I even stopped playing this game myself because i know my team of Pain Edo minato and sage naruto is just too toxic to be played

Yeah it's unfortunate to say that you are right. The Rasengan/Chidori meta in this game is really powerful and can just deplete health bars in seconds. It really is too bad that the game is in this state and that we have to deal with this, but hopefully there will be a balance patch that will atleast take away the armor on these jutsus.😔

Deadly? Maybe deadly to play him cause me is 🚮. And I see everyone complaining about super amor. Imo super should be a thing but only for close range jutsus and not for jutsus like the laser beam from the baryon naruto like tf why. If still would have a type of jutsu clash system everything would be better cause then we can punish them with winning the clash. But frfr jutsu super should stay I was tank 38 in storm 4 and jutsus (beside of fireball and allmytghy push) where used so rarely it not even felt like an naruto game. That is naruto using jutsus mid fights.

I admit he is not the 'best' character when you compare him to the others that completely outshine him, but he is still decent and you can play some good neutral with him. The super armor part I'm 50/50 agreeing with you on that. You are right that there shouldn't be any armor on ranged jutsus. That's just outright annoying and is completely unnecessary. Jutsu clashes would definitely make it better, but unfortunately that isn't the case. Armor on close range jutsus should also not be a thing (atleast the way that they have implemented it). There may be some slight armor on start-up (if you don't dash or react in time) and that would have been fine. The thing with it now is there is no counter to it besides dodging, jutsu clashing and ranged jutsus. That necessarily isn't a bad thing, but not every character in the roster has one of those. The worst part about it is that even if you dodge it and follow them with a dash from behind their armor is still intact and you can't even punish them that way (sometimes your character gets teleported to the front and you still end up getting hit by it). I would say tweak it in a way that from close-range it can be used as a punishing tool if your opponent isn't quick enough. The things I would do to make it better is keep armor on start-up (give it a second delay before it is active) but remove it once the jutsu has been launched (so that we can dash them from the back) and remove the ability to cancel these jutsus too.
