Hey quick question.. my settings on this vacuum is missing the record audio section for the camera. On your video it's there. I have the same vacuum but in smartthings that setting is missing. Any ideas why?

@JbTechFanatic Thank you so much for the reply . I had all the app permissions allowed and location on. On your robot vacuum settings page it shows a section called Privacy: Audio Recording: Record audio along with video recording. I don't have this option in my settings page. My video stream is silent and doesn't show the audio symbol either. Sorry to bother you... any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

@danielpetraglia8161 under Useful features activate home monitoring. Then when on the live page so you see the little speaker symbol on the live video feed? Also did you try to activate pet care under related services? If not set that up as it adds features to the vaccum camera.

@JbTechFanatic Yes I already activated home monitoring , petcare, and tried the premium camera plan. But my live feed won't show the audio button icon. And it has no options to activate audio during video settings like yours does. No worries I hate to keep bothering you about this. I really appreciate your help and love your channel. @danielpetraglia8161 it might be your router and WiFi speeds. If it can't maintain the bandwidth it will prioritize video only. Try a reboot of your moden and router. If still nothing try moving from the 2.4 to the 5ghz channel or whatever the other channel in your network is and see if it appears. Last thing I would do is maybe delete it and start setup over see if it populates otherwise I'm not sure what else it could be.

I have one of these, one year old. Its been back to Sam twice now. Has anyone had issues with their vac getting stuck on ac floor registers? Unless I block them, it gets stuck every time. No point in scheduling if I have to babysit it. Also has anyone had trouble with the camera getting dirty and not being able to see?

Sorry to hear about the issues. It honestly should be able to detect and avoid your vents. I recommend rerunning the home scan if possible when no one is home or moving around. Redo the in app calibration; make sure nothing is to the left or right of the device when running it. In the settings, go to device detection and switch that to "Small." Next, turn on the Edge back obstruction detection switch in the settings. Make sure all sensors on the vacuum itself are clean. Ensure the router is near the dock enough to maintain a strong Wi-Fi connection. Hopefully, this helps. As far as the camera goes, when cleaning your vacuum, a little glass cleaning around the camera guard should keep it clear for you.

you talked about the fact that your rating is only an 8 out of 10 because it not mopping and vacuum at the same time. but an full mopping robot ( like they had once. with an clean and dirty water tank) you can't never make in 1. we people as we do it manually also don't do this. the current combinations of mopping and vacuum is only drag and wet towel on the bag of he vacuum. there will be to much big debris in the wet towel to make it an full function. especially because the vacuum runs several times over 1 area to clean it as good as it gets. we manually do this also. lot of debris never get caught in the first time. so an both connected system on smart things i would sign for. that 2 machines know not to hit the other when its not working at that moment. but knowing where to clean. so first the vacuum finishes and then some real mopping robot with clean and dirty water tank goes after it. then you know its fully automatic with the best result.

I'm really just implying nothing is perfect. To be clear I absolutely love this product and it is by far in my opinion the best robotic vacuum on the market the more I use it tge more I like it And it just keeps getting better and better with software updates

@@JbTechFanatic okay and yes its important manufactures making updates also in the software to improve things. i know that as soon i have the money my old one will move to clean the second floor and the samsung will go for more frequent the first floor. thats more important
