Looks great. any thoughts about adding a fabric sleeve to the end of your dust port? could direct the material into a neat pile on the ground or into a trailer or truck bed and minimize the scattering, especially in the wind. Maybe oversize the diameter so it clogs less? flexible ducting might work

Something to think about. I have found that several of my battery powered tools are "paracidic". Meaning that while the tool sits idle in the box with the battery attached it is using power. And, in a week or two, the batteries run down. just store the tool "WITHOUT" the battery attached.

Found that out about 30 years ago with the old Makita batteries, also made a switch box for the Chargers, they get wore out if plugged in too long, and if course the heat and cold

Happy Birthday to you! I hope you are all ready for the snow you're expecting soon. Don't leave you're batteries out in the cold. Take them inside to charge them. Never charge batteries when they are cold, bring them in the house and charge them at room temperature only. Charging them in the cold is what kills the batteries.

Happy birthday Tyler. I built a log arch myself last year and I've hauled in some pretty big logs so far. I built mine to haul behind my truck or tractor and it might be a little "overkill" but when I latched on to the butt cut of a 29" diameter log by 8'3" log it was on!
