Sammy and Boris just make like two-second cameos. Boris is once seen at the end of the hallway and Sammy is shot like two seconds after we see him.

@@0llieWells To be fair ALL games want you to open all of the chests/boxes/lockers/ect. Even trap ones, because it makes the game more dangerous, or good ones to reward you. So the game straight up _telling_ you to open boxes doesn't really matter. It's implied you should open them all. However, when you have to sacrifice a limited resource to open a box, people are less likely to open the box. Especially people who have spent an hour on a ridiculously convoluted side quest and find the room pretty much empty save for a box, that required a limited resource, and batteries, which a person had previously joked about. If the developers wanted people to open a box to get their reward, that should be part of the quest. Not something AFTER the quest (which was to bring the big guy his lunch) that's tacked on like "Oh, yeah, btw here's a seemingly randomly generated locked box, congrats."

I played the game on Hard for my first playthrough as well, so the levers did not glow I too spent 15 minutes smacking bugs, the difference is... I thought my game bugged out when the "fully powered gent pipe required" text came up. So I reloaded and smacked bugs for another 15 minutes before getting angry and venting my frustrations by smacking random things around the room. Then I randomly hit the lever, and have never felt more disappointed in my life.

Goddamn I remember chilling through 9 hours (I had to go to dinner at one point, but I brought my headphones lmao) and it FELT like Steve's was the longest segment. It's such a giant troll his appearance at the end wasn't even satisfying. lol And I think I've said this before, but what would've made the end better is if you lost control at times and Bendy tried to/got to kill your friends. And if you wait too long, you lose all allies and lose control permanently. It would give people a need to rush, and not just jaunt through not even knowing they can sprint. Sammy got robbed, too, but I think his 5 secs of screen time and then getting no scope'd was funny enough to keep.

I realize Astral Spiff never really takes a game seriously in the sense that he _immerses_ himself in the gameplay. Which no doubt is an attitude that helps with just _breaking the game,_ and generally just _not being scared._ ┐(‘～`;)┌ Which I can't really blame him for, it only _really_ takes an extra moment of thought to say, "Okay, this entity has a command line, and this has a pattern," only to then figure it out and abuse it. I'd like to see a game with enemies, or entities in general, so _unique_ and *life-like* to the point it's so unpredictable to the point that it *_forces_* people like him to immerse themselvesー (ò‿ó )

I have now seen two full playthroughs of this game, ad both did the "kill all spider eggs" thing. That issue is an example of bad design on the gamemakers part. It should have been more obvious what to do. Not that the game as a whole is bad, just that this specific fight should have been made different.

Spiff. idk if you will read this. but at the start of the game, if you just sit at the desk and choose to not get up when the prompt happens but stay there for 20 to 25 minutes real time. the game credits will roll

I have to say... from a story teller stand point, this was. Really bad. I don't wanna bunk on the creators or anything, but it makes me kind of glad I was never really into the first one like a lot of people seemed to be. I'm not on here to just dunk on the game though, as I do really appreciate you playing this and editing it and actually making it somewhat enjoyable for me (everything that was you was great! The game...... eh....) I'm glad this was my first- and only- introduction to the series, as I'm not sure I could have stomached it with anyone else playing. Thanks for doing that!

I dunno, I feel as though him cutting out a lot of story beats and constantly trying to break the game might lessen the story experience a bit. Not that I'm complaining. That's what spiff does. But it's not exactly the best way to experience the story

@@Kyepo from my understanding both games end with a full reset and that’s in my opinion bad writing as it’s lazy and leaves more unanswered questions instead of answering others

@@needstoast It does end with a reset however it's not an exact cycle like in the previous game. It does leave some unanswered questions like how does the protagonist go back to real world after resetting the cycle, however it explains the entirety of the first game and the main plot of the second one is explained well unlike the first game or many other mascot horror games. I can agree the last few minutes were really lazy and goofy though

@@Kyepo I mean the twist on Wilson is a big let down because there just make him the villain in the end anyway. Plus some of the characters just disappear after you meet them. a example of this is the guy who teaches you how to teleport. There come back in the end section but I really don't feel like that should have been a thing in the first place considering it's a horror game.

don’t worry i also did the spider extermination event! i actually beat the egg part 3 times before i finally figured out how to do the levers! i wasn’t on hard mode but in my defense everything else glows because you’re supposed to use E on it why were those switches the only one that needed whacking?

ill be honest i also committed spider extermination (on the eggs) out of confusion lol. was running around whacking everything after hitting the levers trying to figure out what to do cause the big one would NOT come down... had to look up a walkthrough

If I was a game developer, having spiff play my game would be the most humbling experience alive. He would find and exploit every bug in existence and complain about the gameplay- making sure I know EXACTLY what to change.

Bendy is like the alien, from Alien isolation, the vents with the character dropping down also mimic that game, also with the deathscenes and presence. Bioshock combat & upgrades, as well as character systems & character upgrades are all very similar tp systems in Bioshock, with a psychological story & twist like it as well, character and atmosphere designs also feel very similar to it as well.

21:07 I think this is the first time I’ve seen Spiff actually jump at something and then freak out once the ink demon came after him lol Watching his play through back to back really makes it seem like this one is way scarier since he’s been actually freaked out a couple times so far
