The big guy with the mirror shield switches modes depending on what kind of orb you attack with. If you use targeted attacks (like the lightning orb) he'll put his shield above him. If you use regular attacks (like bouldorb), he'll put his shield in front of himself.

@@livid_spider I managed to get this achievement the day the update came out and that's basically how to do it. You dupe it and either get the double-discard book or you get tons of orbs and hope the eggs never appear next to each other. Also, I THINK you can fire it without hitting a peg/wall/bouncer and it won't break.

What was the "bramble" mechanic the new boss did. What happens if you don't remove it like tom did every time?

The brambles will catch your orbs limiting how much damage you can do that shot, but if you can remove the bramble it'll free the trapped orbs. If you don't stay on top of it you lose pretty much all damage output.

The big thing about this update is that you get every relic offered only once. Not sure if shops also count for that but the three you chose from at the beginning - two of those are gone for the run. Kinda nerfs the Eye of the turtle and Peglintuition indirectly. Also cruciball 16 but that is not really what most players notice lol (well the road to it is kinda easier now). And breaking shield pegs harms shields on shieldbearers. Like 30 damage IIRC.

Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1605 OOOOO UPDATE, and what an update it is, so much new stuff :D. Also, one particular addition I love is showing you your ruete at the end :D very nice touch Awww, Betsy is best girl :D so nice Well this had all the Hallmarks of a Tom build, No Plan, Multiball, Multiball, Bouldorb and even that really annoying restrictive movement upgrade that I very much dislike XD god. It's sad but it's also completely understandable. Cookie was basically all the healing you would ever need, even if you weren't specifically in a refresh build. And IN a refresh build it basically made you immortal.

Besides possibly wanting your sweet baby boy bouldorb to get the credit for the kill, there is pretty much no other reason to skip through a ball on the Wall-Face man boss fight. If you get any damage whatsoever, it’s worth the fact he takes an extra step closer, because that’s the only thing you’re in danger of 🤷🏼‍♀️

Seeing all these backseaty comments and pondering whether I actually like Daggorb or not... I haven't played this game, but: I don't really think it's much better than a stone? It would work well with crit fleece I guess, but, otherwise, it does nothing. A crit is absolutely necessary to make daggorb do anything, and if you've already got muscircle/any non-crit damage bonus, you've nullified daggorb's only advantage with crit fleece, while bringing stones up to the point of doing comparable damage if you can avoid crits-- something I think is easier to do than hitting crits. Sometimes your crit peg positions just suck. So like, yeah, I'd probably remove daggorb? I don't rate it very highly honestly. edit- I believe later cruciballs DO debuff stones? and that at least makes daggorb look better by comparison. On higher difficulty levels, it becomes more of a question to me.

Difficulty in this game could probably get shot up, Tom had a pretty terrible build where his only damage boost was a power glove and muscircle, and the muscircle never applied cause he was always critting, and still won with barely any challenge.

Difficulty goes up WAY higher, Tom just has it on setting 5 out of 15

This is at a fairly low difficulty and Muscircle is still absolutely broken to the point that literally nothing else in the game is remotely competitive, so any amount of it will just carry you even with no coherent build beyond that
