I rode this & the other 1 yesterday. Didn't film those or the store elevators though. I did find & filmed an original pre-The Block Northway freight elevator here which I may upload sometime soon.

Yeah. I guess no filmers came here during that time period. Also, I here you've filmed (or are going to film) a lot of elevators around Pittsburgh, & I can't wait to see them!

Yes, and I will film when I travel. My vision is that someday, you will be able to look up any location or building and find a video of their elevators. We aren't quite there yet though, as there are a lot of elevators around me (and other areas) that have not been filmed.

There’s now a new Schindler elevator model called the 3300 XL. It uses FI GS fixtures, has a capacity of 4000-5000 lbs, can travel up to 10 floors at 150 or 200😃 FPM, and can have a cab up to 10 ft tall! I saw it & checked-out the model when I went ahead & decided to check Schindler’s website to see if the 330A had been discontinued yet.

330As were not discontinued, there is one coming up in a building near me. It was demoted to the last listed model on the website though (it used to be the first).

I can guarantee you there aren’t 40 elevators. Maybe 40 units in the entire building (including escalators, dock lifts, etc.)? Or maybe 40 in the Township of Ross?
