NEW Schindler 5500 MRL Traction Elevators at the Home2 Suites/Tru By Hilton Downtown Denver, CO

Filmed in October 2020.
Even though many Hotels in Denver were inaccessible due to COVID, I was able to make it into this one thanks to a nice lady who let me in!
The Elevators here were very nice Schindler 5500s which while I've seen a few at this point and they're slowly becoming more common, this particular system is the TALLEST 5500 system I've seen yet!
Very, VERY Smooth and Quiet just like most of these New Schindler MRLs are!
Unlike the nearby AC Hotel by Marriott/Le Meridien which has Two Elevator banks that serve each wing of the building, this place just has this Central Elevator bank that divides the hotel into two that serves both areas of the hotel. Floors 2-6 are served by an Employee Only Elevator that serves the valet parking floors for those wondering.
Overall, these elevators are pretty nice. The cabs are very nice albeit basic, and I do find it interesting as to how they used 2 speed doors as opposed to 2 sided single speed doors like most Public High Rise Hotel Elevators, but overall, Excellent Installation from Schindler! I approve of this!

This is the highest Schindler 5500 installation I've seen on KZbin. I've never been on one of these new Schindler installations, I hope I get a good first impression whenever I find one.

there's another schindler 5500 video from 2017 but the building that has the elevator in it has 40 floors.. and the elevator goes up to 36

Even I haven't been on a 5500 this tall. Tallest I've been on is 17 floors.

Huh..... Interesting how someone let you inside. Back when I filmed there I was able to simply just walk inside the hotel with no problem.

Schindler does not offer single slide doors for 5500, only two-speed and center opening just like 3100, 3300 and 3300 XL.

I think so but idk for sure. I know for a fact there is a separate elevator that doesn't serve the hotel floors that serves floors 2-6 but it serves Valet Parking and therefore is Employees Only
